  1. If it is credit from Celebrity, it will appear in your Cruise Planner when you make the reservation and you can use it pre-cruise. The difference will go on your cc.
  2. The PP was talking about the updated requirements, which apparently allow a passenger to take a picture of the test stick from an unproctored test. Not the previously required official result e-mail with name, etc. from a proctored test.
  3. For Italy sailings after Sept. 5. 😏
  4. Cunard is now asking passengers to confirm negative tests but not requiring documentation. (*May apply to only some cruises. Mine is SOU to NYC with a stop in France.)
  5. You cannot make changes yourself online. Everything requires a phone call.
  6. Cruise ship ESPN is full of cricket and soccer; it's a different feed. Occasionally they show big games (e.g., the Heels beating Dook last March πŸ˜„) on the stateroom TV or they broadcast on deck somewhere (they showed some football bowl games on Constellation last Dec.). My husband has watched games on his phone with the premium internet, but he had to move around and find a prime signal spot.
  7. Assuming you're getting off a cruise ship and going to the airport for a same-day flight after about 11:30, the cruise ship's shuttle.
  8. If you want $100 OBC, it's worth calling.
  9. Just show up! You'll check in at the desk, get a short tour of the space, and then you're all set.
  10. I make decisions while I am packing. I decide I don't want to wear the same outfits over and over, and I decide that I don't want to wash clothes in the sink or send them out to be washed in hot water. I don't judge carry-on-only packers. Do as you like. I will do the same, even on a 7-day Caribbean cruise.
  11. I see a bunch of windows. πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ
  12. Closing the doors doesn't keep the A/C on.
  13. DH and I sailed HAL on our first cruise in our 30s--and loved it enough to become 3-star Mariners.
  14. Agreed. I am happy as a clam in an OV, and I enjoy suites when DH comes along. Either way, I have a great time and get good service.
  15. And here I thought, "Potato chips?" 😬
  16. Yes, I was upgraded in March from an OV to an IV, too. πŸ˜€ I resisted the Move Up offer because I figured I'd get bumped up anyway.
  17. Yes, those little tags, usually placed right on the threads of a seam, are tough to remove from some items without ripping threads or the fabric. I don't send out anything that is at all delicate as a result. If the washing/drying doesn't ruin it, the tags will.
  18. We got plastic bottles of water on the pier as recently as December (or maybe it was January) on the Constellation. Sometimes they have to take what they can get.
  19. It is when the website repeatedly states travelers are expected to walk several miles a day and stand for periods of time. It was disappointing to have to slow the pace of the tour for one person who shouldn't have booked at that time. "6. These tours are very active. Our tours are not for everyone. They are very active β€” physically and socially. They're designed for energetic and curious people who are ready for the experience of a lifetime. Museum tours, guided neighborhood walks and occasional hikes all add up to lots of time on our feet during the day. Afterward, we relax at dinner with lively conversations." "What are the physical demands of your tours? Our tours are physically active! Expect to be on your feet, walking and standing, for up to three hours, indoors and outdoors, and in all weather conditions. You'll also need to carry your own luggage, often up several flights of stairs."
