well that was a brave comment to make but might do some good. I often worry about room service quality. I post on various cruise line threads on cc, and I am seeing more and more negative comment about MDR and or room service food. That is why I go to buffet so that I can see my food before eating and the food is generally hotter than MDR. And some of the best food on ships is really at lunch time. I am surprised about the food on Rotterdam since she is one of the newer ships. Still, I really do not go on ships for the food but for seeing places and enjoying the entertainment. One area ALL cruiselines need to improve is on desserts. What a disappointment for me. toodles

yes this is how RCI handles their behind the scene tour, you go to the excursion desk. I have done two of these tours, one on Oasis class, and one of Quantum class. I realize they are both RCI, but any ship behind the scene tour is fascinating and especially getting to the bridge as well as the large kitchens.

well do not sail on the grand Princess as she was the wrong ship for Alaska. The pool not covered and they load folks on the ship on upper decks in the middle by atrium. During port day the whole center of the ship was chilly and even the guest services desk wore winter coats all day long. The aft area if wet would rarely be wiped down. A mess of a ship for Alaska. NCL ships like Bliss and Encore ae great because of the front of the ship observation area. Just check the port times as they have lesser time in port.

aw yes we are a knowledgeable bunch. A lot of the reservation folks have never even been on a cruise. So yes CC is good place and try the various port of calls section as well.

look under itinerary for the cruise and there should be some listed. Or check the app

one of my favorite ships. gone out of Bayonne three times with her. She leaves in the Spring for good and will be replaced by Odyssey

I was on the Liberty and everyone loved the Sat Night live. And in the back, Liberty has the only raft ride that goes up high and then comes down. Look it up as the other two Freedom class do not have this ride.

wondering if they will use the crew for a couple hours work setting things up. Also they should just eat on the ship and not take food off thereby making about 50 crew members work. Hoping the weather does not keep them from docking either.

funny cruisemapper even as of 2:30 pm EST has Icon still in PR. Then again, Cruisemapper is wrong or behind about 20% of the time.

don't forget most ships will have the comedians doing some shows in the main theatre and also on the last night at 10pm will be and adult one. I have done this on most ships I travelled this year, except Disney.

I think not. My impression is the weather has caused issues and not quite so smooth sailing for the WC You tube has quite a few videos from the ship and they were all posted in the last day or so. they even mention the weather near Brazil. I think flooding in the gym area and those wet carpets would cause some mold. Not interested in arguing I just mentioned what I saw on line.
