I think either next year or 2026 I will book a cruise with MSC just to try it out. And the new Sun Princess will have a dome in the front similar to ICON. Also HAL on some of their recent ships have a place called One World in the aft that is 270 degree theatre with windows like the Quantum class. So, all the various lines are trying to copy each other. The Promenade that started with Voyager class is something that a German ship had done before.

and I wonder who is at fault, Princess for making changes too much or the shipyard dealing with supply chain and or labor issues or even technical. I suppose they still have to do sea trials and sign off on each system and section of the ship.

and they are building a big and new terminal right in front of RCI in Miami. Should be interesting few years for Miami and the variety of ships

and that is the point as other cruise lines will have a few by the elevators. I asked and they told me never on CCL will they have them anywhere but near food. Why even in the public restrooms on Celebration the trash is in each stall.

oh yes it was on the celebration as I sat and chatted and observed. A drink every 5 minutes is why ships have issues IMHO

but they make you wait 1/2 hours in between orders even for sodas which amazed me. The system setup for that and the poor fellow next to me sat and waited 1/2 hours before he ordered his 2nd can of soda to take both to room. Now this is just messed up. And really I think the drink limit should be 8. Then perhaps there would be less issues with roudyness. just my opinion. 15 in one day is just not healthy

just curious if you ever found any public trash cans besides what is next to coffee areas? I did the Celebration and was very surprised no trash cans by elevators. Oh and never any sports on TV. They want folks in the bars. Very different things on CCL.

agree what an odd thing to say. BTW back in 2016 when RCI Harmony of the Seas came out, and third in class with first and second being built in Finland, even in 2016 jokes were swirling about nut and bolts on the new Harmony. Funny to fast forward to now and hearing the same thing. For me I wish they could find a way to stop the rattling of the dividers on the balconies during high winds. That is why the infinity rooms appear to me now.

well everywhere prices are higher than normal. So we have become accustom just a bit and yes it is like arguments, pick and choose what you can bear.

I am pretty good with ship movements but not for more than 3 hours then I get annoyed. On Oasis last year I had a room oceanview in front of ship. I had very loud wind for over 24 hours and it got on my nerves. but the movement was okay and interesting to watch as I was above the bridge.

well I agree for the most part only new ships would I pay higher to go on. Doing the new Icon in May but I got my room back when prices where just high not Highest.

lucy girl you. love the four photos. enjoy I have 4 crystals - all glass, Ovation, Allure, Vision, and Adventure. One from each class of ship and this year I am on the Jewel twice once in Norway and once out of Boston to Greenland. Hoping I will get my 5th crystal and I like having one from each class. toodles

He loves golf and I am betting that exposure to sun a lot might have given him skin issues. yes he is well loved. I have a Dvd on making of Voyager class ships and it shows a lot of the earlier captains in fleet all gathered around sketches and standing for some meeting and Johnny is the only one wearing knee length shorts. But Capt Rob on Wonder is very nice with great sense of humor. And captain Henrik Loy is nice but a bit more studious and shy. Capt Kate over on Celebrity used to be an officer under Johnny on Harmony and I think he encouraged her to go to Celebrity to move up in ranks. I wonder whose idea it was to have this rover dog?

Well having bad weather in a part of world that most folks never get to would be disappointing to me. all that money and then some ports being missed. wondering if timing of WC is. Or such a good idea
