  1. You can send a PDF or a photo of your account statement. when ours was approved, I sent a PDF of our statement with our account balance, account number and other stocks listed redacted.
  2. We are a Baltimore lover too. An easy 3-hour ride along with reasonable onsite parking for seven days of relaxation.
  3. Not sure we have the power to define "smaller", but for RCCL I would guess between 100,000 to 170,000 tons which is largest number of ships in their current inventory, so they must be profitable. I'm not a ship designer, but if height is the limiter for port access why not design a ship with a wider beam. The Spirit class ships have a beam of 106' while the XL ships have 137' beam. By increasing the beam would add volume to the ship while maintaining the 12 levels but may add to the draft which may be limiting too. As far as the VIFP program across the corporate brands. It may be a good corporate wide marketing program based on CCL efforts to lure first time cruisers while providing them a path to their other brands. I recently watched a CCL marketing video, instead of discussing CCL as usual, they introduced a Princess brand marketing rep to inform the CCL agents of the Princess options. The presenters alluded CCL had a higher volume of guests booked into 2025 and Princess has available volume.
  4. I agree, I believe this would be great for marketing while giving seasoned cruises additional options across their brands while recognizing this group's commitment to Carnival Corporation.
  5. With RCCL announcement that sometime this year a new class of "smaller' ships will be introduced. We know "currently" CCL has no plans for smaller ship builds. I know this will be few years down the road, but I wonder how CCL will market their older ships to the newer RCCL "smaller" ships. I believe RCCL effort would be to attract the seasoned cruiser not looking for the mega ships while enticing new cruisers at the same time. I understand cruise lines market new cruises dollars to expand their clients base and profits, but it appears to me RCCL understands new cruises become seasoned cruisers and seasoned cruiser provides a reliable base for the industry.
  6. Benefit extended to 12/31/2024. Shareholder Benefit | Carnival Corporation & plc
  7. Yes, in past years (reports 2016 to 2022) CCL listed the shareholders benefit as part of the annual report.
  8. I remember the Capers, post cards and chocolates and miss them all.
  9. Totally agree, if CCL plays follow the "leader" RCCL indicated recently they are looking at some smaller ship builds.
  10. No smaller ships in the future. I hope CCL remains committed to the ports that have size limitations. https://www.cruisehive.com/carnival-looking-bigger-and-better-no-new-small-ships/124945
  11. In the past it was included in the annual report and it is not noted the 2023 report.
  12. I agree travel insurance is important with the current travel environment.
  13. Thanks. Wonder if he will be switching to the Pride once it returns to Baltimore sailings in April.
  14. Is Ken the current Maitre'd on the Legend? Thanks
  15. We have had two great PVP since the early 2000s. When my first PVP was promoted, they assigned us a new PVP and he reached out to us for an introduction. He has been great too! I like having a connect person if an issue would arise. I have had some bad experiences with travel agents, can't seem to find a good one.
  16. We have been using a PVP for most of our cruises (nearly 20 hrs) and never received any kind of gift or bonus. I thought about switching to a travel agent but didn't think it would be worth the time. Not sure if we are missing anything.
  17. I would like to see CCL continue the recycling of the older names. So, I would go with Carnivale, Festivale and Tropical for the next three new ships orders. I hope some smaller ships are in the corporate plans in the coming years like RCCL.
  18. I like this idea of additional Hub App functionally and would like to see the ability to save picture, notes and etc. of certain events each day or you participate in while cruising for review after the cruise. This would be like a memory photo books or cruise videos CCL sold in the past.
  19. I don't smoke or like smoking but don't think it will be any time soon when smoking is totally prohibited. The area that may cause a shift is if the cruise lines see a decrease in the profits from the smoking section of the casino. I have recently traveled abroad, and in other countries (many of where the crew live) smoking is still accepted as a social norm. With that said, I would be happy if smoking was prohibited.
  20. Once we cruised connecting staterooms, we knew we found a winning setup for future cruises. As you said two bathrooms and some space to separate was always good. We kept the connecting interior door open all the time. We also had the balcony partition opened too when able. From what I can see on the ship plan, there is only two connecting Family Harbor interior staterooms (4362/4358) but may be incorrect.
  21. We did not have any issues using the app for submission or receiving our OBO. You should blackout your account number, other stocks you own, the value of your account, etc. They only need to see the CCL stock you own and the account owner's name. Our stock ownership OBC was added to our OBC that we received as part of a promotion when we purchased the cruise.
  22. Here are a few additional changes made to the Pride. 1. Dream's Studio added 2. Heroes Tribute Bar replaced the SkyBox Bar 3. Carnival Adventures Shop replaced the game room 4. Spa Carnival was rebranded to Cloud 9 Spa 5. General hotel updates
  23. Update, our $100 credit was added to our cruise today, seven days after submission.
  24. I read somewhere that RCCL has stated they are looking at new builds of smaller ships. I hope this forecast for smaller future builds will be in CCL's extended operations plan.
