  1. I believe they will need to bring their own pack n play the rest of your answers can be found on Carnival.com The following Pool Rules signage is posted at all pools, fleet wide: No Lifeguard on Duty Parents are responsible for their children No children in diapers or who are not toilet-trained Camp Ocean® offer Night Owls for children 6 months to 11 years, allowing parents/guardians time to enjoy the nightlife without having to worry about their little ones. When? Night Owls is available each evening from 10:00pm-1:00am. During the day, parents/guardians can advise the Youth Staff if their child will be participating in Night Owls. If there are no children participating by 12:00am (midnight), Night Owls service will be cancelled for the evening. The service closes after the last child is picked up, if past 12:00am. How Much? $7.50 per hour plus an 18% service charge, per child No discount for additional children or family rates. Fees apply per child. Fees are due upon pick-up and paid via Sail & Sign® card directly to the Youth Staff on duty. Cash is not an acceptable form of payment. Any child left past 1:00am will be charged double (for the time period beyond 1:00am) and will forfeit Night Owls privileges for the remainder of the cruise, if the policy is abused. Where? Night Owls take place inside the Camp Ocean facility with a 'slumber party' type atmosphere, including movie time, arts & crafts, toys, video games, snacks and more. Children sleep on pillows and blankets. Cots are not provided. For infants, Pack N' Plays are available for usage. Note: Carnival Cruise Line does not offer any in-stateroom services. Sign In/Out Policy Children ages 6 months to 11 years must be signed in and out by the parent/legal guardian or the authorized persons over the age of 18. The adult is required to present their Sail & Sign card each time they drop off and pick up their child. For the safety of the child, there are no exceptions to this rule. The little ones can enjoy the best parts of summer camp, year-round aboard their Carnival cruise. At Camp Ocean kids will have a blast in supervised, age-based groups and give each a cool marine-life label: Penguins (2 to 5 years), Stingrays (6 to 8 years) and Sharks (9 to 11 years). Together with their group they’ll enjoy tons of fun-filled, age-appropriate activities like arts and crafts, songs, games, toys, dancing, movies and video games. When it’s mealtime, kids eat together and get their own menus with back-on-land faves like mac & cheese, chicken nuggets and more. The whole time, our experienced counselors will be there to make sure everyone in these small groups has an amazing time. Plus, when the sun goes down it’s Night Owls time — fees apply, but kids get to stay up late having fun while their parents also enjoy themselves well into the night. Children under the age of 2 are welcome to join Camp Ocean programming and Night Owls during specific times. Hours may vary due to cruise itineraries. Sea Days: There are limited times throughout the cruise for ‘Under 2' time. During these times, parents/guardians have the option of leaving their child in the care of the Youth Staff (fees apply: $7.50 USD per hour plus an 18% service charge, per child) – or - they can stay and use the camp facility at no charge. This time is designated for the use of 'Under 2’s' and parents/guardians only. Check on board for specific times offered. Hours may vary due to cruise itineraries. Port Days: While in port, parents/guardians have the option of leaving their child in the care of the Youth Staff (fees apply: $7.50 USD per hour plus an 18% service charge, per child), however, we do not provide care during meal times for children 'Under 2'; parents/guardians must return from port at this time. Evenings: Night Owls (babysitting fees apply: $7.50 USD per hour plus an 18% service charge, per child). From 10:00pm-1:00am each evening in the Camp Ocean facility, a ‘slumber party’ type atmosphere, including movie time, toys and room service snacks. During this time, there will be children from other age groups (ages 2-11 years) participating in Night Owls. Cribs are available if needed. Potty-Trained Children do not have to be potty-trained in order to participate in Camp Ocean and/or Night Owls. Parents should provide the Youth Staff with diapers and toiletries to be used for their child.
  2. All this back and forth over Drink Limits. Just keep drinking until your cut off then you'll know the limit.😉
  3. Belly Flop contest? 😮 Oh my it has been awhile hasnt it.
  4. You can pre buy or buy at the door. You can buy individual cards or different packages. You will need something to mark the cards, typically a dauber you can purchase or bring your own like I do.
  5. and Carnival's Engineers are not actual Engineers? If i only had a dollar for every time 2 Engineers disagreed.....🤣
  6. Well i havent read anyting from him that has been inaccurate but that must just be me, maybe i missed one or two.
  7. probably by asking someone with a license? Like a chief engineer perhaps? I hear tell they have a couple at Carnival......Just a guess mind you. 😉
  8. probably referring to the older ships as this was dated 2019. On Celebration if you open your balcony door the AC system to your room shuts down.
  9. well that depends what do you mean by "around"? Are we talking close proximity like 2 feet? In the General area like somewhere on the ship? In the Country im vacationing in at the moment? The city that i fly out of or into on my way to vacation? Anywhere on the ship i or my family might possibly see or smell it? I smell many odors that are offensive while on vacation so unless its in my cabin there's not much i can do about what wafts about on the breeze now is there? What about the drug use i cant smell? If its right next to me on the next lounge chair well i would probably say something cause i absolutely KNOW my son will if hes around. No filter on that kid whatsoever. Speaks out about people drinking around him too. (Even me lol) The percentage of times ive encountered it on any cruise i have been on has been very low unlike the percentage of times ive seen it or run into it while travelling to my cruise. God i would never have vacationed in the US, Canada, Mexico or the Caribbean if proximity of drugs was a factor. In my Opinion there's more drug use every day around me and my family at home that we are likely to run into then on vacation.
  10. No, actually it isnt. Those are "reactions to an issue" not the data that informs those reactions. Same as the statement from Duffy and the dogs are reactions. How much, what kind, when, where, that is Data. Statements that there is illegal drug use everywhere is just that, a statement. When people say they smelled marijauna on thier cruise its usually 1 or 2 people doing it out of 5,000 but the comments are always "so much marijauna being smoked on our cruise" or "lots of drug use on our cruise" making it sound like only 2 people out of 5000 were not smoking it.
  11. Celebration Hands down, more food choices, more entertainment, great ship all around.
  12. Which he would have turned over to the pool to be split as per normal so you really only gave him the same tip he would have gotten had you left it as it was plus your normal extra. All that work same outcome.....
  13. You can view the menus also on Carnival.com
  14. Have one for Free Balcony room, one for Free Outside and one for Free interior. Get them all the time just pay port fees and taxes. Some even come with OBC that makes up for the Deposit.
  15. This is the new formal btw...You can fully dress up or do what you mention above.
  16. I had 10 bottles of water left over last cruise and couldnt get my room steward to take them so i left them in cabin for the next occupants.
  17. Glad to know my words were of some comfort😉.
  18. If you didnt end up in a lifeboat whats the issue?
  19. People would still need to tip the exact same amount as the daily pre paid gratuity charge IN CASH to whoever they wanted to tip in cash to. Anything lower than that means they would be getting LESS from them for a reward of their hard work and service during their cruise since anything they get IN CASH from them has to be split as it normally would be with Pre Paid Gratuities. Restaurants that charge a min gratuity are doing the same by splitting it among all staff that worked to provide people a great meal and evening out not just the waiter who smiled at them. Thinking they are just going to keep what people give them to themselves is skewed thinking as no one would risk their job just to make others feel good with themselves.
  20. Interesting...I always use YTD and we have never once been seated at a group table.
