  1. Strange i cruised the Panorama in March too and i found the food quite good. It did take awhile yes in the dining room but i expect that. Restaurants on land can take just as long IMO at times and given the staff shortage and having just restarted sailing i think all in all it was expected and just being back onboard honestly helped me overlook a lot of small items.
  2. oops not @BlerkOne damn quoting thingy.
  3. NCL and RCCL have cutbacks as well. NCL most recently with its drink package pricing increase
  4. Sure and you could also get a 20 oz steak once upon a time for a nickel now if you get a 7 oz steak for under 20 bucks your lucky.
  5. Emerils will still be there but it will have an expanded menu featuring international cuisine.
  6. On alot of cruises its the destinations requirement to not just a Carnival requirement.
  7. Dining in the MDR has always taken a long time. Its a 3 course meal with drinks served 1 course at a time. First cruise on Royal in 2007 i recall being 2 hours at least. If we want to get out faster we tell our server to bring it all out at once or we go to the Buffet. Rushing is not in my vocabulary when on Vacation. Only thing that could be faster at dinner IMO is the Bar Service person lol.
  8. ok good to know i was curious. I agree hard to believe it was full in 15 min.
  9. I wish there were places to purchase gift cards here in Canada
  10. Did you have anytime Dining? I belive this is usually a Dining option for those that do so it could very well have been full. Did you use the Hub App to select your dining time and get your table number before you went?
  11. Thoroughly enjoyed this review! Can hardly wait for our Legend Cruise to Greenland Sept 2023 with John Heald now.
  12. I dont think Carnival Insurance covers the flight changes. I may be wrong though.
  13. Thoroughly enjoy your reviews. Thanks for taking us along on your travels!
  14. We did a Western and Eastern Caribbean B2B on the Dream. Was so nice to not have to get off the ship with everyone else at the end of the first leg. Also gives you more time to try everything out on the ship. Definitely make sure you have the same cabin.
  15. Will definitely look at this place for our Jubilee Cruise in 2024
  16. Guess thats fine if you A) stay in your room the whole cruise or B) like to walk back to your room for a drink all the time.....I for one like to get my drink where i am at the moment.
  17. Hey Jimbo, my thoughts and prayers are with your hometown and all of Florida as they recover and rebuild.
  18. You should get the full 200 as your cruising solo.
  19. This shouldnt make a difference as all cabins start with double occupancy in each regardless of what they could potentially sleep up to.
  20. Not on Carnival. If your VIFP Level changes anytime during the cruise you are that new VIFP Level at the beginning of the cruise.
