    Hi all. I am new to Celebrity and have mainly sailed Royal and Carnival. We are contemplating a family cruise in December 2024. I am apprehensive about sailing on the Eclipse given her age. Also, I have heard the food is not as good as pre COVID. Please share your thoughts. Thank you all.

    Thank you for your review. We sail 4/23. How was the motion on the 8th floor? We are in that location as well. Did you ask for a mattress topper? I’ve heard that can help on the mattress. Was the AC able to keep up,or was the room stuffy?Regarding your excursion was that through RCCL?Thank you!

    I have not but I have used Victor Borden tours several times in the past with good results. So glad you are able to get out there more with your recent health journey. Please post your findings as we are interested as well.

    We are sailing on April 23 cruise, purchased the south lot. Port of Galveston cruise parking usually has discounts.

    Jlshouston- I am so happy to hear your DH is okay. I’m sure that was very scary. We sail on April 23, celebrating 30 years of wedded bliss. ❤️This will be our first time on a ship this size. Any tips to share? I have been scouring the threads like crazy, I already booked the shows, specialty dining and drink package!

    You can also call the Crown and Anchor number and they are quite helpful.

    Definitely ask for fresh food from the WJ. They made fresh fries for me when I asked if they were GF. The Cafe promenade is spotty on offerings. Sorrento’s has a gf crust, they will make you a fresh pizza, I’m not sure if you are simply intolerant vs severely allergic, but I had very good luck talking to the headwaiter each night. We developed an instant rapport! Good luck.

    Also I tend to get cruise ankles aka “cankles” so I need the bottled water. I don’t want to over stress on prices. Hubby doesn’t drink so he has the refreshment package. I think it’s worth it.

    Hi all. I apologize if this has been asked recently. We are sailing on Allure and have the deluxe beverage package. I understand that this does not include Starbucks so where do you procure your specialty coffee drinks?

    Hi all, sailing next week on LOS. Does the solarium have clamshells or daybeds? Also, is there a solarium bistro? If not, any other places to hide out in the shade?(My daughter is verrry white!) 🤣

    Oh my gosh. I wish I saw this before I purchased them. My trip is already paid in full. I heard RCCL nickel and dimed you, I didn’t think it it was this bad. Guess I’ll stick to CCL from now on. It’s a pity as I was actually getting excited.

    So I haven’t been on RCCL in years but am scheduled in October. Pizza and beer go together. I can’t eat the Pizza in a bar but take the drink to the Sorrento?
