  1. I didn't think to ask about the PJ's until the second day. The butler opened the closet nearest the door and there they were! I would have missed them.
  2. I spent the last ten minutes looking for that particular .pdf. Found it! It was contained as the last document attached to an email from the Shoreside Retreat Concierge. Entitled 'Suite Luggage Terminal 25 Dash board placard'. Email included specialty restaurant menus and premium spirits list.
  3. White letters on black background. I printed it on card stock. I think it also had a photo showing the Retreat luggage drop-off area, which is further down than the regular area. It had a place for your name and sailing date. I told the driver I had it and he asked for it when we encountered someone directing traffic. We were waved around. Probably didn't hurt that it was black Lincoln limo.
  4. We entered the door a couple of minutes before 11:00. The limo driver had the PRIORITY placard I'd printed from the .pdf provided by Celebrity. We pulled right up to the Retreat entrance. Carry-ons only so everything was easy-peasey.
  5. We were in an Edge Villa and boarded the Beyond from T25 on 11/08. A fellow with a tablet identified us as 'upper level suite' and called an escort over to guide us through boarding. Other than a slight pause to have our pictures taken, we never stopped moving. The escort lead us to our cabin, opened the key card envelope, and made sure the cards worked. She alerted the butler and he showed shortly thereafter. Best boarding experience ever.
  6. Following. We were aboard 11/8 to 11/13. Already booked on the Ascent.
  7. Arrived at Terminal 25 at 11:00 and were escorted to our room (upper level suite). Never even sat down. Room was ready and the escort opened the card envelope and made sure the key cards worked. Luminae opened for lunch at noon and everyone showed up at once, of course. Service was a little slow but the place was full. Luminae burger was wonderful. I think they were serving lunch in Luminae until 1:30 on embarkation day.
  8. We were in an Edge Villa last week on the Beyond. I handled all specialty dining thru the Shoreside Retreat contact. They reached out to me. Nothing showed in the app until we boarded. They assured me it would be fine and it was. RS and above should be the same.
  9. The door to our verandah (Edge Villa) was stuck. Butler got maintenance right on it. It took three guys but they had it working by sail-away. Verandah was awesome. Darn near lived in the plunge pool. The butler can make or break a cruise. By the way, Starlink wifi was outstanding on the Beyond.
  10. This is the patio in front of the door to 15106 on Deck 16. Door is a bit heavy but after all, it is a sea door. Leads to the master bath and bedroom. Not much in the way of this on the port side. The four on starboard have the patio/porch.
  11. 4-2-N-8 1. Escort was not needed. However, he spoke to the person at the entrance and we magically got prime seating. 2. Usual chair hogs on Retreat Sundeck. Pool and bar not crowded at all. Edge Villa served as its own sundeck. 3. There a Crew Only door right by the entrance to 15106. It was key access but never really shut. We used it. 4. Plunge pool had a control panel for temp, bubbles, mood lighting. I damn near lived in it.
  12. Just got off the Beyond (Edge Villa). We considered ourselves fortunate to have Hilario as our butler. He anticipated our every need and walked us to specialty dining every evening. Even sang for us one night. He made sure we had cookies every afternoon. A real class act.
  13. We came off the Beyond on Sunday. Easiest walk-off ever. We were in a upper level suite and had carry-ons only. Got luggage tags for Group 1. The 9:00 am flight to DFW was leaving from gate next to where we choose to sit and wait. We could have made the flight but I would have worried about it for sure.
  14. Just off the Beyond. Enjoyed our Edge Villa. Butler walked us to our specialty dining each evening. I spent a good bit of time in the 'plunge pool' each evening. We were escorted directly to our suite upon arriving at 11:00. Got our PJ's!
  15. Ran into Captain Kate and the current captain outside the theatre. Said hello and got a big smile. They were in a hurry so no photo. Made our evening. Captain Kate was all dolled up. So odd to see her out of uniform.
  16. Magnavox. Grew up with black & white and 3 channels.
  17. Too much Air Disasters on Nat Geo channel.
  18. I was wondering why there were still ships in port. Weather was wet and windy. Pilot did a go-around because of a squall on the end of the runway. Did a wide turn over PE and landed on the second attempt. On the Beyond tomorrow.
  19. There's worse places to be than the Admiral's Club.
  20. I just got my 'unsuccessful' email. One less thing to worry about.
