  1. The only photo I have is the view southward from the port side PH on the Constellation. It's not T25 but it's not that bad. We were escorted directly to Michael's.
  2. I haven't been to any of those three. Those 5 day sailings are becoming more rare. We were on the Beyond 5 day last November. That's the perfect numbers of days for us. I wish there were more of them.
  3. Move Up is run by a third party. Same outfit handles Royal Up for Royal Caribbean. They work in mysterious ways. I have heard from someone who ended up with an IC. As I recall, he bid on a different upgrade but won the IC. I think the details are somewhere in the Move Up permanent thread. I bid double the minimum on a PH on the Beyond but didn't win. We were already in an EV. Good luck!
  4. I had signed up (several times) but wasn't getting PUP emails. Someone on CC posted the link for the 50 point one (February, I think). I completed it and I guess that did the trick because I've been receiving them since.
  5. Retreat guests may board as soon as boarding opens. We usually show up at 11.
  6. I shudder at the thought of Excel but Vertex doesn't do anything for me either. 🙄 Those are the two trademarks they currently hold.
  7. Maybe this will help with financing for Edge V (Excel/Vertex).
  8. Just did a mock booking for November 3rd, FLL to MCO. There's a 10:25am flight for $58. January dates are not available yet.
  9. The airline that flies the yellow planes has cheap flights from FLL to MCO. I don't want to say their name. Might be one of those Beetlejuice things. However, the price is right.
  10. I got off the Beyond for a photo op in Cozumel. Pleasantly surprised we were at the 'Royal Caribbean' dock. Much shorter than the one I was used to. Not shown on Google map.
  11. Need to know the departure port, cabin type, and sailing date to be much help. I, too, plan in painful detail.
  12. Just priced Business/First DFW to FLL round trip on AA for two at $2,500. That's the money I hate to spend but what are you going to do? Forward lavatory was out of service on our last flight and I had to make the trek back through Economy. All those sad faces...
  13. I don't want to feel out of place. My version of dressing up for dinner is a collared shirt. Even if it is from the Sky Princess.
  14. We are sneakers, jeans, and t-shirts cruisers. I would be uncomfortable on Silversea/Oceania/Regent. Upper level suites on X are my comfort zone. I don't bring any dress clothing whatsoever. Don't even own a belt. Elite after 22 days at sea with X.
  15. Depends on where you start. These were our options from an Edge Villa. I bid $3,000 pp on a PH but they were already sold. ☚ī¸
  16. Paid $2,400 a day for our EV on the Beyond and that was a bargain compared to today's price! A lot of money to sit around and watch decades old reruns of Keeping Up Appearances. Booked in November of 2021.
  17. We are Elite and will be in a suite. I'm hoping to bypass the long lines.
  18. Looks like the Carnival Sunrise and Glory are there, too. Please let us know how the tendering goes!
  19. I never miss an opportunity to over-think or over-plan anything. Picked 9163 on the Ascent because it's on the end of the bump-out, close enough to the elevators to be convenient, and far enough away from the stairs/elevators to be quiet. Of course, this is subject to change via Move Up. 🙄
  20. We picked the port side PH on the Constellation because the window washing device lived on the starboard side. I referred to my research as 'due diligence'. My wife mumbled something about 'anal retentive'.
  21. Part of the joy of a cruise is knowing the room number. It's something I don't have to worry about. We never leave the ship for port calls so it makes the room very important. Not a fan of the IV's. Go for the porthole! I would avoid the ones where the window washing device blocks the view.
  22. Tangerine, NOT orange! I got corrected.
