  1. Sail Allure. The D lounge is that beautiful large lounge with the Aqua theater view. OK - no more hot breakfast (unless you include toast) or lunch, but certainly never crowded during the day. Enjoy it while it is still a D lounge. M
  2. Seems our WiFi is always an issue on after the first leg of a B2B. They system often does not recognize a new account when we are back on board. Early morning coffee drinks have not been an issue. I've been able to get a specialty coffee from Cafe Promenade till about 8AM. m
  3. The answer is yes BUT only until those places close, generally before 8:30. As soon as you get back on the ship from the B2B process, your new sea pass is ready to use. M
  4. Since you say is a weekend cruise, i wouldn't worry. Just go and have a great time. Or you can go back to the Royal Up page and bid for a balcony cabin m
  5. They only live 5 miles from the port. Not much difference than taking someone to a rental car office in Cocoa Beach. M
  6. OP - by the way, go to the source, the RCCL site to see dining options. Cruise critic and most other blogs ( not even the popular one with RC in the name) are not official or even affiliated with RCCL. George is correct - I don't think there is Hibachi on Brilliance, just Izumi, Japanese A la Carte dinner. M
  7. I love how the article uses "secretly" makes changes. Anyone who is an active member of Club Royale likely knew the program was changing on May 1. And as noted, it basically changed back to pre covid rules. As an occasional player it was really easy to get enough points for potentially a free cruise. My play certainly didn't warrant a free cruise ( just over 800 points) but hey, if the casino gave me one with only 800 points you can believe I booked it! The goal was to fill cabins and it worked, too well! M

  9. Royal Caribbean suspended B2B testing a few weeks ago. We were tested in between our April 17 and April 24 cruises so it was discontinued sometime after May 1. The passenger can't "insist" on a test, but I guess a passenger can bring a test kit and simply self test any time they want. I have no idea why B2B testing ended. M
  10. That is sweet but I'm hoping they'll give me the "back-order block " on our upcoming Mariner cruises. Looking forward to seeing you . M
  11. I believe this list is no longer valid. I know that the 525 wines are different. Plus, juice in no longer offered, just water and soda. The opening sentence "says" juice, but it is not listed. They removed the item and never changed the narrative! M
  12. Don't hold your breath. I'm still waiting for a tote and towel from a February Harmony cruise. (promised to be mailed) And, just to add, a Mariner block from September, also promised to be mailed. If there is something else on the list that you will take, I'd see the LA and get it. M
  13. We've had 5,200 and 4,900 hundred on mid and late April Harmony cruises. The slight % or difference between 4900 and 5200 was not noticeable. For reporting purposes, full capacity is based on double capacity and is around 5400 for Harmony. Both sailings were full and we could tell. We did accidently happen upon ( I believe a crew) quarantine hall on deck 4. Crew have to quarantine a few days before taking their assignments so I never assumed it to be covid patients. We were walking from the dining room and wanted to avoid the casino so we started down a guest hallway. So weird as all the night tables were outside the cabins and all had the same looking containers of food. We immediately left the hallway. I'm guessing someone forgot to close the fire door. So even with some unassigned guest cabins, we still had in the 5000 range for both cruises. M
  14. Ten does seem long. Our recent advise was 5 days as long as there is no fever, or once the fever subsides, which ever is greater. M
  15. OP - sorry you aren't feeling well. You may want to read these threads. The first also includes comments from someone on another ship. They will provide various scenarios. Best wishes. 16. A fellow cruiser recently posted this. Various levels and cruise length get different numbers of gifts. Diamond plus gets one gift, diamond plus at 340 gets a second gift diamond plus at 525 and pinnacle get a third gift, for seven night cruise. Cruises 3-6 nights get one gift. you will need to call crown and anchor to add or change a gift.
  17. Frankly, I don’t they they would pick up the difference. But, since I want my wine on board, I wouldn’t risk having my wine confiscated . m
  18. You TA must contact RCCL on your behalf. RCCL cannot service your account directly with you. m
  19. Those chocolates were (are) provided by Royal and are not a regifted box of chocolate They are delicious chocolate truffles We received those same chocolates as a gift from our travel agent years ago. m
  20. We were four adults. Two BOGO and two paid. We paid $81.24 PER PERSON for the two other adults. This included the dinner rate, 18% gratuity, and I believe tax as we were still in Florida when we purchased the meal. I wish I had the receipt with the full breakdown of the purchase. All I have is the single line on each of our folios. Similar costs for us. I think our dinner rate was a few $ less but still too high in my opinion. I believe that the restaurants are priced so passengers will buy the dining packages. Just this morning we looked at an upcoming cruise and remarked that three meal package for about $100 PP plus gratuity was perhaps a much better option than using a BOGO. m
  21. Please don't stress! You can use any recent photo for the boarding photo. One from pre cancer is fine as well. I use a regular photo, and just get in close. In fact, my passport photo back then had me in long hair. One cruise I had hair that was about 1/2 inch. Back then customs officials looked at the passport photo and then me, smiled and sent me on my way. It certainly doesn't matter if your boarding photo hair matches your situation when getting on or returning from port. Personally I'd steer away from a beanie photo as that might cause unnecessary problems. You are there to relax and celebrate, not to fight the system. M
  22. The C&A BOGO at Chops cost us over $80 for the second person on a recent Harmony cruise. It was a nice experience but we are still deciding if it was worth the cost. We took two family members and used both our BOGOs so it was in the $170 range. Other evenings we had a lovely table in the dining room and frankly it never occurred to me to suggest we simply order the Chops Filet. Yes, the appetizers were good in Chops, the vegs just OK, but the dessert wasn't any better than the MDR. OP - thanks for the reminder. M
