  2. A year ago, the AI was included in the price of a cruise. I had it on the first booking and was told it was included in the price of this one. I should not have to pay for something that was supposed to be included with the price of the cruise.
  3. Definity a TA mistake, which they admit. I'm sure they'll "make it right", I just want to make sure they make it right for me not them.
  4. I agree. I'm just not sure what recourse we have. We're not going to sue over this and we are going to continue to shop in their warehouse stores.

  6. I've got multiple invoices from the TA including one I got yesterday and they all include the AI package.
  7. Thank you. Those are good questions for me to ask. I've thought about just asking for OBC to pay for drinks but I have no idea how much to ask for.
  8. Whatever they offer will have to be in writing. If that's what they offer, I have lots of questions, especially if the reimbursement would included the drink's gratuities.
  9. She didn't mention the gratuities so I don't think it's a problem. The big box TA is known for their customer service (think accepting a used Christmas tree for a refund) so I'm surprised they're negotiating instead of just fixing it.
  10. I haven't received on of those in years. At least the last 4 or 5 Celebrity cruises it's been missing.
  11. I don't think so either but I'm grasping at straws.
  12. This was discussed before and that thread included the link to sideload the app. You might want to look for it.
  13. Over a year ago, we booked a cruise that included Mumbai. After researching the ports, we decided to change it to a Singapore to Tokyo cruise. I called our big box TA and asked to have our deposit changed to the new cruise and they changed it immediately. While we were settling the cruise specifics, I asked if this would include the AI. She said that it would and it was included on our invoice. Since then I’ve never seen any indication on the Celebrity website that the AI was included but we’ve had that issue before and it’s never been a problem. The new cruise has been sold out for several months now. Last week I called to have a FCC applied to the payment. While verifying the booking, the agent said something about us not having any perks. I told her that we had the AI package and it was memorialized in our invoice. She repeated that we didn’t have any perks and I told her that wasn’t acceptable. She did some research and came back and said the booking didn’t include the perks and that was why it “was so cheap”. I told her that we had a problem with that and she referred it up to a manager. I talked to the manager yesterday who told me that since the drink package cost over $2000, she was going to have a problem getting this resolved. She verified that she listened to the original phone call and I did ask about the AI and it was supposed to be included. She wanted to know if we would be willing to be flexible with the perks before she took it to the next level. I told her since we were Elite Plus, the internet wasn’t that important but we wanted the drink package and gratuities. She asked if we’d be willing to pay for our drinks on the ship and submit our folio for reimbursement after the cruise. The reimbursement would be limited to the classic drink package amounts. I told her I’d think about it. Does anyone have any suggestions on how we should navigate this situation? I firmly believe in honey rather than vinegar but I don’t want to lose what we thought we paid for. Would it help to get the Captain's Club involved?
  14. I'm on the phone with my big box TA. When they booked our cruise, they didn't include AI, that's why we can't upgrade the drink package. I have my receipt from them so I hope we can get this fixed.
  15. I'm sure that works if your classic drink package shows on your booking but two of can't upgrade like that because the website doesn't show our drink packages. XuGator and I have the same problem.
  16. We have one Celebrity cruise booked and two Oceania cruises. The Celebrity cruise is meant to be a test to see if it's as bad as it seemed to be heading on our last cruise. Oceania reminds of the way Celebrity used to be. My husband speculates that they may be bringing Celebrity in line with Royal with the intent to merge them.
  17. Equinox is updated so you should have a good selection of movies. I haven't been on that ship in a very long time, so I can't speak to the movies. When were on the Millennium we really enjoyed the movies but don't ask me what they were, I don't remember. I don't have any problem with your font on my PC. It's a bit "busy" on my phone.
  18. You need to let people know which ship. It very much depends on the ship and if it's undergone "Revolution"
  19. We have an Asian cruise on Celebrity scheduled for March 2024. After that we have 2 cruised booked on Oceania. I'd love for the Celebrity cruise to blow us away but I'm not counting on it.
  20. We were on the Infinity in May/June and it had good and bad times. The food was clearly an issue but the customer service was excellent. We were on a 10 day cruise and came down with Covid on the second day. We were quarantined for 5 days. The room service, TV and internet were horrible but we were treated very well. They refunded all the excursions without an issue, even the one we went on but I ended up in the emergency room (dehydration). They treated us to a dinner in the Tuscan Grill.
  21. We did it twice in the last year. The first one, the sommelier was excellent and clearly made an effort to match the courses using our drink package. The second time, the sommelier provided the wine but didn't seem to care as much. Both experience were great.
  22. The one time we booked a Sky Suite, the butler did nothing more than we normally receive in a Concierge room. We got afternoon snack and that's it. We didn't know what service we could ask for and he didn't tell us. We were not impressed.
  23. They weren't that good on our last cruise (May/June 2023).
