  1. I posted the screenshot of my screen in number 8. As I said, I'll call them tomorrow
  2. There is no check next to the name to select it. I do know you can prepay, I've prepaid on my other cruise.
  3. Our cruise is next September. I tried it in both Chrome and Firefox and never had the option to select. I've got an appointment today but I'll give them a call tomorrow.
  4. Where do I pay for the gratuities? On our booking, the only gratuities I see is under Drink packages and nothing is clickable.
  5. I can't really speak to ApplePay but Google Pay worked fine in Europe. The US seems to be behind the rest of the world when it comes to this stuff.
  6. Dear Guest, Thank you for booking your shore excursion with us. You’re in for an authentic and unforgettable experience on shore, and you can relax knowing the ship will wait for you if your excursion runs long. Beginning January 1, you’ll have up to 48 hours prior to arriving in port to cancel your shore excursion. This update applies to all new and existing bookings. Excursions with flights, trains, special events, overnight stays, hotel stays, or Private Journeys, are excluded from this policy and individual restrictions apply. To learn more, review the official terms and conditions. Thank you again for planning your vacation with us. We look forward to welcoming you aboard. Sincerely, Celebrity Cruises
  7. It depends on your spending habits. I'm a cheap skate and my husband's a spend thrift so we always have to compromise.
  8. We're always surprised how people forget to remove their towels and papers when they leave their loungers. We remove them before we sit down.
  9. We took a repositioning cruise from Boston to Miami last year so ocean crossings won't get them all.
  10. It looks like the Black Friday sale goes until Dec. 6. I'd be surprised if there's any price reduction until then.
  11. Have you checked for specials on drink packages or excursions? That's where I found Black Friday specials.
  12. An onboard credit can usually only be used onboard. There are exceptions so be sure to check.
  13. You're welcome. I hope it helps someone avoid this.
  14. Last August I booked a cruise with the Travel Agent division of a big box store. My cruise included Drink Package, Free Wifi and Gratuities. This September I was making a payment on the phone and discovered that they didn’t show the perks on my booking even though they were included on every receipt I had received and on the booking on their website. I knew that Celebrity’s website didn’t show my perks, but I’ve had that happen before. It took several days, multiple phone calls and a few emails but they finally promised to give me all the perks before my sailing date. The cruise is now about three months away and while I still don’t have the perks, I believe that they will add them to my cruise at some point. They are well known for their customer service. There is a Black Friday sale on drink packages that impacts my cruise and if I had the Classic Package, I would upgrade to premium at a good price. I called the TA to request that they add my drink package now so I can upgrade it. I’m still waiting to hear back from them but the phone agent said something that I think must be reported on this board. She told me that this happened to a number of people. There was a problem with their interface with Celebrity and a lot of bookings had the same issue as mine. Please, if you booked with the Travel Agent division of a big box store, call and verify that you have your perks. I would hate for someone to try to deal with this while on a cruise
  15. My cruise has been booked for several months and I was able to get the price adjusted.
  16. My Bermuda cruise next year was on sale. I got a price adjustment for $600
  17. The first time we cruised, I was afraid we'd have to eat at the buffet all the time. My past experience with buffets almost caused me to skip sailing. When we boarded the ship, the only place open to eat was the buffet and I was sure I had made a horrible mistake. Luckily, once we sailed the other options were available and the rest is history. Interestingly enough, the buffet now holds some of our favorite memories. There was the time we were on a culinary cruise and they brought aboard mussels from the port and served them in the buffet. And the time we came out of Sushi on Five after dinner and discovered they were serving lobster in the buffet (we ate lobster anyway!). Or the beautiful exotic fruit station on our Alaska cruise out of Seattle. We now check the buffet at both lunch and dinner.
  18. It doesn't show up if you set the month as April. I had to just keep looking.

  20. I'm not looking for a point email. I'm looking for Captain's Club members emails.
