  1. I watched the first ten minutes. That was enough, I'm done.
  2. Just off last week and I did the same. It would still activate in the night on occasion when nobody was up. You could pull the main card, but as far as I know that would disable all lights. Then you would have to put it back in when you wanted a light like the bathroom. I made sure to tell them my thoughts in the post cruise survey. A simple switch just for that light would be nice.
  3. Or raise the required shares amount, or cut back the OBC amounts, anything is possible.
  4. Sorry I goofed, it is late here. The ID card is for Turkey and is just that. Not sure it has anything to do with covid. sorry.
  5. We are on Regal now also. Just FYI, they did not test before our first Greece stop today but they did issue a covid ID card with a barcode on it to show in port if requested. Today in Kusadasi they did not request to see it but we are told that tomorrow in Istanbul we will not be allowed to exit the terminal without scanning it.
  6. Just tested today at FCO terminal 3 site. 20 Euro and quick and easy. Located near ground transportation exits. Both negative and ready to cruise on Saturday.
  7. Glad to see this improvement. I finally got ours for our next cruise after two submissions and two follow-up chats. Odd thing is that it still does not show in the payments section of the personalizer like our other sailings but rather in the onboard reservations section, simply listed as "onboard credit". They said that they had do enter it manually for some reason so maybe that is why.
  8. On the same cruise. Our plan is to test at FCO on arrival but I am told that pharmacies in Rome have testing, not sure about Civitavecchia.
  9. That won't work for this cruise as the visiting Greece rules apply. It must be in-person testing.
  10. You are correct, Greece requires in person testing as far as I know. Specifically stating that online proctoring will not work. The Rome airport or local Pharmacies will test for a fee. At least that is what I have been told. Will find out next week.
  11. Got mine also. Now my question is if Greece is sticking to the 72hrs or 48hrs or is it actually 3 or 2 days, like Princess. I guess I will assume the former to be save 🤪
  12. Don't see how the changes beginning on the 6th would have anything to do with the Greece rules. Otherwise the webpage section on cruises visiting Greece would have the until Sept. 6 wording like the others do.
  13. Just got an email from Princess via our TA on our Sept. 10 Rome cruise. It says fully vaccinated do NOT need to test before embarkation! This is even though we visit Greece. The website has not changed...…yet.
  14. No way in 9 days of travel with stops in other countries that you possibly have come in contact with someone positive 🤔
  15. Same for Greece. Test two days before we board and the first Greece stop is day three, so five days out from the test. I think politicians everywhere just want to say they are doing something, even when it is almost pointless.
  16. Admit that I had to google Malbec. I guess I am not "civilized"
  17. Only makes me more hopeful that another change from Princess is coming soon.
  18. I can relate. Re - watching some shows I watched decades ago that I thought were great but now seem so stupid. They are obviously not the ones who have changed.
  19. Waiting to hear what you find out. As of Tuesday it looks like tests prior tp boarding still required. Hoping for a change soon. Voyages Departing, Arriving or Visiting Greece Updated: August 16, 2022 Vaccination Status Definition by Country's Health Authority Pre-Travel Test Type & When to Take Test Before Boarding Age: 5 to 17 Age: 18 and Up Fully Vaccinated 18 and above At least 14 days past completion of a primary vaccine series and no more than 270 days (9 months) from the date of disembarkation since receiving the last dose of an approved COVID-19 vaccine. 20. I presume and hope that they are done filming on the Regal. We sail in September.
  21. Yes I just saw that. I now wonder if it was an editorial mistake to begin with? Or something changed since yesterday.
  22. Yup, give it a minute things will change again.
  23. Dang. They changed the UK site to exclude the EU now. Not the direction I wanted. Unless otherwise communicated, all guests ages five and older must take a viral COVID-19 test (PCR or antigen) within three days prior to embarkation on the ship. This can be done at any time in the three days before on the day of embarkation. Guests no longer need to provide a test certificate, however they will be asked to confirm that the test has been taken, with a negative result, as part of the pre-boarding health declaration at the cruise terminal/airport. Guests under five years of age are exempt from pre-cruise testing. (Please note that these updated guidelines apply to the UK but not to the U.S., Canada or EU).
  24. Up to you. If you can't cancel the video test with a refund or just want the added peace of mind, you could just complete the video tests as planned. They are not saying it can't be proctored. You could still fill out the attestation.
