  1. No. The Enchanted has Take Five lounge and Crooner's Lounge on deck 6.
  2. On a North American based voyage some will, most will not. Do what you wish. Also depends on when October 31st falls during the cruise. If it is the last evening, probably not many. Mid cruise probably more.
  3. I would not expect that a T.A. would know the amount of detail I mentioned. They deal with many ships and many cruise lines.
  4. Should be about 18 months before the start of the season, which is late spring, early summer 2023. Fairly certain Princess does not sail the P.C. itinerary in September. In 2024 they might start the winter P.C. season in October. In 2023 they start up in November.
  5. Yes, but I think in the poster's case the ship is embarking/disembarking when in NYC.
  6. Guessing this is the world cruise on the Coral. You will have to wait until the port date is closer. This has always been a sore spot with me. Princess does book piers well in advance and they should know where they are docking in NYC. Their customers should not have to ask this simple question in cruise critic. Just not good customer service.
  7. For a ball park number I think the poster can use the US$ prices + 33%. The plus fare's US$12 limit is stated by Princess to be AU$16 in the terms and conditions.
  8. Search the deck plans. Most cabins have balconies that are small, 9ftx4ft and covered by the deck above. The cabins are straight up & down and not layered caked like Grand class ships. Angled balconies and some of the aft balconies have some portion uncovered. Shade will depend on the direction of the ship, morning sun, afternoon sun and so on. Very little shade from the deck above. Deluxe Balcony cabins, "D" categories, have a small 2 seat sofa. Mini suites., "M" categories, have a 3 seat sofa. Note mini suites do not receive the full suite benefits. There are some mini suites mid ship with larger angled balconies. The mini suite balconies on decks 15 & 14 mid ship starboard are in the view of people walking on the skywalk. The ones on the port side are also in view but not as much as the Seaview Bar blocks some of the inward views. Many of the mid ship minis are club class which provides you with a special walk in dining area in the mid ship deck 6 DR. There are 4 extra large club class mini suites all the way forward on the upper decks. The only deluxe balcony cabins with larger balconies are some of the aft facing ones on certain decks. You can find all of this on the deck plans searching deck by deck. The deck plans will be your friend.
  9. Probably around 11:00 or so. Really depends on when the disembarkation clears. Best if you enter all your inform on the medallion app and are green lined to board. Noon seems to be very tight for a spa appointment. Even when you are on board hardly leaves much time to get to and book the sanctuary, get to your cabin, kind of get settled in. Your cabin may or may not be available when you first board. Just give it a try after you do the sanctuary thing.
  10. By the way the Sapphire has a nice wide promenade deck. Widest in the fleet.
  11. Not certain what you are trying to say. On Nov. 23 Caribbean Princess is docked at pier 2 and the Emerald is at pier 19
  12. Go to porteverglades.net - The official website. Select Ship Schedule Select Query Use drop down arrow where it says next 7 days Select show all Enter start date in box, ie 11/01/2022 Select execute You will then see all the pier assignments. December schedule for the Caribbean Princess is not yet shown. Only up to end of November at this time.
  13. Normal is that 7 day repetitive weekly cruises that arrive/sail every Saturday or Sunday are assigned to pier 2 for the season. Ships doing 10 day voyages sail on various days. If they happen to be in port on a Saturday or Sunday then they are assigned to another pier. Princess can also use pier 4. I believe that two Royal Class ships will not fit into pier 2 and pier 4 at the same time, but a Royal Class and a Grand Class I think do fit.
  14. I would choose either one based on value and itinerary. I have sailed from Chile to Buenos Aires to Ft Lauderdale and also from Rio to Chile to Los Angeles. These longer reposition trips are the ones I prefer. Princess will have lectures, lots of trivia, lots of live evening lounge music, plus the normal shows. Feel HAL lacks some of this. Sapphire is an older ship, but is a really nice design. Princess' plus fares are also a good value. Around two alcoholic beverages per day to break even. No issues with your diet except you probably will have to eat many of your meals in the DR. On Princess the DR is open for breakfast and dinner each day and for lunch only on sea days. The South American trips were some of our best.
  15. If you are on b2b voyages then any unused specialty coffees carry over. Yes, you can exchange the mini bars for the 2nd & 3rd cruises. In practice we always called room service on the day before the end of each cruise and indicated our preferences for the next voyage. It always worked for the coffee packages, not sure if it will work for exchanges, but no harm in trying.
  16. I would park in the deck where you disembark, and shuttle over to the embarkation pier. Another solution is to use off site parking and you will be shuttled to and from the ship. It is also possible that the Caribbean Princess could embark at pier 4.
  17. Not accurate. You get one mini bar for every section of the b2b no matter how many are booked and no matter how booked.
  18. Maybe. Passengers on Princess' early excursions use those tenders.
  19. Two coffee packages, one loaded into the accounts of the 1st and 2nd passenger in the cabin. If you want both packages loaded on just one person's account you have to mention that.
  20. No matter what the facts or final outcome, to frustrate customers and keep them on hold for hours is no way to handle a business. From reading these boards Princess is turning passengers away day after day. Princess is lost.
  21. The main meal will usually be in the evening. If Christmas is a sea day then lunch will be served in a DR. There probably will be some special selections. You can book a specialty restaurant for Christmas dinner if you want. The menu will probably be the same as other evenings, maybe a few differences. The MDRs will have special menu selections for Christmas dinner.
  22. Yes, call room service. While the cabin steward may note down your request he/she will just have to pass it along to room service. If their are any issues the request will go 'round in circles. Just pick up the phone and call room service directly.
  23. Royal Class ships do not have the layer cake design like Grand class ships. The small 9x4ft balconies are fully covered by the deck above on both decks 14 & 15. The mid ship angled balconies are also covered by the deck above, however someone on the skywalk may be able to look down onto your balcony. Not a big deal as very few people use the skywalk and when they do they just walk across it. The Sky Princess has a solid deck all the way to the curve of the skywalk and eliminates the issue with people looking inward toward the upper balconies. People have reported that M107/8 and L107/8 are nice mini suite selections, large balconies, forward look.
