  1. The only complaint we had was half of the welds on the sofa were broken and had been repaired once before. Hope they replaced it. Room steward did a bush fix and used zip ties to secure it. A little rust here and there, a elevator down now and then, nothing major in 26 days aboard.
  2. Signed up through Viator for a tour in Thailand and was required to provide passport info.
  3. We were waiting for 2026 until we saw the 32 day Singapore to LA cruise in Oct 2024. Too good to pass up, only have to fly one way. Fly 15 hrs oneway get off ship and 15 minutes later we're back at our Long Beach condo.
  4. The Outstanding Crew Self Laundry Itineraries Longer Cruises Lack Of Kids( 2 above take care of that) Peaceful enjoyment
  5. Used app to order 8 beers at a time to our room, have to keep the refer stocked!
  6. On he Regal in October, I could stream shows from YouTubeTV.

    Koh Samui

Just booked him for our 10/24 visit. I liked in the reviews, "didn't see another cruise ship passenger"
  8. That's good to know, the Porters weren't to happy when we disembarked the Regal on 10/24. No porter line! The fun part was watching as people who had gotten off earlier than there ticket time were forced to wait for their bags, even though the bags were out. They were trying to keep it organized.
  9. Except for the very last mini suite cabin in that range is covered. On Dolphin deck.
  10. We are also at this stage and book long cruise that have very few kids. Most of the ones onboard are young and well behaved. The teens are in school. Did the rowdy cruises when our kids were young and we made sure they were among the considerate well mannered ones.
  11. We had a change to our itinerary although not as drastic as yours also due to "port congestion" Our stop in Honolulu was moved a day and Moorea was substituted for Kona. Ours was a win. We got the same BS excuse and after looking it up, the Celebrity ship will be there on an overnight. We still arrive and depart while they are in port.
  12. Best mini's there are. I think a ice bucket of water in their direction to put out the fire would be a good start😀
  13. I assumed that, but it Never Hurts To Try, all they can do say is NO😀
  14. When the regular fares are discounted, the interline fares go down as well. I just re fared 2 upcoming fares that are on interline rates. I add the OBC and my stock benefit and compare the fares. I've stuck with the regular a few times when I included FCD's but have found that I'm usually better off using the interline fare.
  15. On all of those routes where there is overlap, except 2 I believe, other carriers also serve them.
  16. I found booking a flight on the 9th and staying a week saved a few $K on airfare. For some reason Wednesday has the lowest fare. Of course I only fly one airline so not sure what others are offering. Another 15hr flight so the pre party in the lounge will be a must. I'll be getting around to the Roll Call. Aloha
  17. I've been saying for awhile that this would be the next merger. Alaska doesn't rely on a domestic system but still has good coverage. Alaska has always been managed smart. They pulled back from Mexico and concentrated on Hawaii years ago. Very little overlap for the DOT to scrutinize. Hawaiian has long wanted to expand to Europe and it's been rumored that it will come with the 787s. Alaska has experience with the EMB 175 and that could be a replacement for the 717. HAL has said the 717 replacement is now "on hold" till the merger goes through. I just hope for the employees of HAL that the companies operate separately. The local news is already counting the loss of jobs in the management side.
  18. Only having to fly one way is the deal sealer. We got you beat, we only have to get to our place in Long Beach😀 I've been to Singapore several times, but my wife hasn't. We plan on staying a week in Singapore pre cruise.
  19. No we haven't got the shareholders benefit or been able to use FCD's while booking an interline fare. Was just casting one out in case the new app allowed it.
  20. We're actually doing Singapore to LA.
  21. We sa it on the Island pre retro and loook forward to seeing it again
  22. One of the factors in HALs decision is that it's International markets that got devistated during Covid are still a money loser and not forecasted to come back for another 2-3 years. Couple that with having to replace the 717's, engine repairs on the A321 Neos and the introduction of a new fleet, the 787 the financial outlook wasn't the best.
  23. This morning's news had the CEOs of both airlines on and they are saying for now, that it will be operated as 2 seperate brands. The first time in US aviation, but not in International. BA and Swiss Air, KLM, Air France and a few more.
  24. We're looking at booking a 32 day cruise on the Coral. We've sailed on the Island both before and after retro and enjoyed it both times. Does the Coral have burgers on the Lido deck, or only Pizza? I know there's no "casual dining" venues, but do they do any pop-up type of venue. We have 9 days at sea and it would be a good option on those days. We normally book a far aft room, but just finished a TA on the Regal in a forward cabin and liked the location. With the buffet up front, and having to walk through the spa to get to the aft of the lido deck we're thinking of a forward location again. How's the ride up front on the smaller ship. We don't mind bouncing around, helps us sleep.
  25. I make sure to pack Gatorade Zero packets to keep hydrated. My 15 beers a day don't quite satisfy the hydration one needs😀
