I’m usually up there for trivia, and I vaguely remember them opening at 4 pm. But I was last onboard in March.

I think they may have mastered the challenge if morning fog. They hustle a bit and anrrive around perhaps midnight or 2 am, before the fog rolls in.

We’ve almost always had wonderful luck in the main dining rooms of Celebrity, with three out of five specialties a big disappointment, so I hope you’ll be matching my experience. Last two cruises not as good as first 19, but hopefully things will be turning back around again now.

We had rough seas on that catamaran, but what a bummer that you felt drugged. Glad to hear the patches work well for you and are now in your possession. That’s exciting, to go back to an old favorite for breakfast on embarkation day!

If you are fish eaters, I think you’ve missed out on something truly outstanding, the chargrilled tuna. Now I see several others beat me to it!

I don’t recall anything I’d call a summer dress on a formal night. That would be what I’d expect to see on the other nights. I wear pants and a nice top on the other nights, and a silky skirt and dressy top on the formal nights. I look forward to paying attention, Nov. 2-12!

What a fun plan! Mr B and I stepped on our first Viking Ocean, coincidentally the Jupiter, on our 55th anniversary, and it was my 55th cruise. After one glitchy main dining room dinner the first night, the rest of the cruise settled down to exceed our expectations … b/c of the whining of the Viking cruisers, hence our diminished expectations. Right now we have two Crystal booked, and one more Viking Ocean. Our two Crystal happen to be on Serenity, b/c they’re in North America. Have fun with your planning!
