  1. Enjoyed your video! Did you fly from MCO to Heathrow or Gatwick? Also, I could not really tell from the video, did you rent a car and drive to Southampton, or did you arrange for private transport?
  2. I hope MSC keeps their crystal staircase on their new ships, they are beautiful and unique to MSC.
  3. For your Prime cruise, you must book AND sail by the end of March 2023.
  4. I have not had this happen with a suite.
  5. Good thought, but I do know many university faculty who are on 9 month contracts and can request to teach 1-3 courses over the summer. The summer pay is surprisingly good in Florida, and many courses are still being run as a remote course (online). But I agree, many of us are on a "fixed income".
  6. There are many people on budgets who love to cruise, like all the senior citizens in Florida who are on fixed income! And I agree, there are "lowlifes" everywhere in the world

  8. Covid policies are fluid and constantly changing. For example, I just read that on HAL Rotterdam, for three sailings in July, they are Not Requiring a pre-cruise Covid test. Will be interesting to see how that works out.
  9. I just booked Voyager today because it has been a long time since we went to Tortola and St. Croix, and that was on another cruise line. My husband prefers Oasis-class ships because of the variety of entertainment but agreed with me that this is a great itinerary for us. And it is also going out of our home port.
  10. They have them on Symphony, they have a double bank on each side of the bar.
  11. Currently on Symphony and there are over 6000 passengers aboard. You do have to wait for an elevator. We booked shows as soon as we got on board and we’re able to get the shows at desired date and time.
  12. I don't get the whole duck thing. And with so many people worried about catching germs from surfaces on cruise ships, why in the world would you pick up and touch a duck that might have been handled by who knows who/what/where????
  13. Ouch bad, bad luck. Hopefully you and your family will all get well and cruise again in the future
  14. So funny they did that. What a great story!!!!!!
  15. It was super early to get a bid accepted for July. We sail in two weeks and hav not heard a word on our bid for the June cruise.
  16. Would like to see the pre-cruise Covid testing become a voluntary thing instead of a mandate.
  17. Minimum bid was $600/pp. We bid $700. So our total was $1400.00.
  18. I just got the Congratulations email, got our Royal Up for our July 16 Symphony cruise. Bid $100 over minimum and went from a guaranteed JS to a Crown Loft Suite.
  19. Yeah it is quite the drive, not my favorite. Now outside of Sarasota and it has rained all the way here.
