Weather is lot nicer then last Month on our east bound Radiance Panama Canal Cruise. We had yr worth of rain in 2 hrs during our stop. Cars were washed off road, all traffic inc Tour Buses at dead stop for 5 hrs. We had rock slides, trees down, Huge Boulder came within 10ft hitting our Van as we were sitting there getting showered with rocks and mud. Was 6hrs late getting back to Ship at 10pm this after walking hand in hand threw water covering a Bridge and 5 at a time riding in back of a Police pick up. Leaving from San Diego we had 6 straight Sea Days before this first stop as we went hundreds of miles west into Pacific going around a Hurricane

Yeah, This was happening on Radiance in Oct for our Panama Canal Cruise.

Hit and miss from other Threads for Sales this last week, Black Friday/Cyber Monday same same with some small deals but mostly Miss. With Ships Sailing at 110% Capacity, Royal bringing in record Billions in Revenue not going run any great Cyber Monday Specials as in yrs past just to give money away. On Booking Cruises can still find some good deals(compared to the overpriced ones) but have to really look. On my Sailings Drink Package is running at $52, was lot higher last I checked weeks ago, BUT, I don't drink... Then have to remember an up to 30 or 50% off is what Royal says compared to the higher price what you would pay onboard the Ship

Seen Battery operated Decorations on outside of Cabin doors for Halloween, Xmas, New Years, Valentines. Just dont ever use the self sticking Jello type colored Decorations. They bleed onto the Cabin doors permanently staining them with Orange Pumpkins, Turkeys with multicolored feathers, Red Valentine Hearts and Green Xmas Trees. Years later I see they are still visible on dozens of Serenade and Brilliance Doors. Some on here have even brought small Xmas Tress for their Cabins with Battery operated Lites

About 9-10yrs ago they replaced bunch of Brilliance Shower Curtains and they were all about 6-8 inchs too long. Getting them closed to take shower, Wow! ...it was a mess or was standing on them

Yeah shoot for Decades at home Utility or repair Companies would give 6 hr window(am or pm), this when they wanted us to be ready for them. Now at least when they are down the list to you being next they Text and confirm you are there, ready and they will start your way. Lot less wasted time for both parties

Understand but have enjoyed your pics/posts and would have Loved to have you do it for next 9 months

Kool, like said I'd ask for the wash/fold bag though my Attendant had me use the large paper one from my closet. Can see why theyd do away with the plastic one, stretch them too far and they rip, clothes fall out

Years ago before they added "other workers" when I started Cruising per person, per day it was $1.25 each for Waiter and Room Attendant, 50 cents for Asst Waiter

Didn't know that changed, Diamond Members use get $$ off Wash/Fold, think it was $10 off. Long time since I was Diamond though, 15-ish yrs ago. Small plastic Bag I could roll clothes and fit a ton in it. Was like 14 T-shirts, 10 sox, 10 Underwear, 4 shorts. Last yr on 3 different Ships Room Attendant just gave me larger reg laundry paper bag for wash/fold

Got lucky, know some inc a few on here that got charged Regular Laundry price for not allowed wash/fold items. With me wouldn't want my nicer items inc my Jeans washed in that extreme hot water. Seen some my Tshirts and even underwear come back faded a shade or 2 lighter but I can live with those

Actually I was lucky when Concierge called me up in my Cabin and asked if I was going be at upper Tier Party. They had Captain give me D+ Certificate that day, this even though still had couple more days to reach actual point level. We'd just started a 13nite Cruise. She even sent me down to get Status on my Card updated. Though this was about 15yrs ago. Know it doesnt happen, but it did to me

Gets even worse on longer Radiance Sailings. When Ship Refuels a couple times in Port the only place to Smoke is indoors in the Casino. Was even some passengers on Jewel walking around Centrum Vaping until Crew stopped them

Pricing Cruise to Cruise and Ship to Ship can vary. My next Cruise in 2024 the Deluxe Beverage Package is $53.99, but I don't Drink. The Refreshment Package is $23.99. Dinner at Izumi $35.99 and for Lunch $23.99. The 5nite Dining Package is $179.99 but the 10nite package is only $279.99

Think it was $2 for small 12oz water Bottles and $3.50 for can of Coke, plus Grats. But don't forget can carry on 12 cans or bottles of 17oz size, Pop or water, per cabin. My choice is 12ct of 16.9oz Bottles Diet Dew myself... Trying to remember all the Ships that don't have Freestyle Soda Pop Machines, think there is 3 of the Radiance Class and not many others if any. Anyone?

Got an old Serenade Block end of Sept, Onboard. They own me 2 more from last yr and one from 2019, "Supposed" to come in the Mail

Thanks, usually keep track and watch Daily, looks like 3-4 new Cruises Posted. Royals famous for Posting a few like this outside the scheduled weeks. I watch for Repo's, Long Carib and PC Cruises but wish could take that TA.

they been pretty good, usually no cost to change Flights. Problem at times is I paid extra to get a better timed Flight originally then stuck with the Changes when my choice flight was combined with different one. Long as a can keep same exit row window or Bus Class seats I Booked its all good

Agree, same, Maintenance done many times in my Cabin, tighten screws, replace Balcony railings, checking air flow, never aware ahead of time

Always get an Alert from Delta, issue there is ALWAYS change in Flights times. Yes usually 3-10min but at least once a yr its couple hrs shortening my time between connecting Flights or to Flight I didnt pick originally

We're Lucky, Royal 5+ yrs ago waited even longer to release. Every couple yrs now they Flip schedule, First releases were longer Caribbean/Repo's recently but now back to later though most these I've Booked nite they came out which was late as April-June over the last 12yrs

Wow, thanks for sharing! Came so close to Joining Ship yesterday, was going Book it Saturday with the short following Cruise before WC. Few min before I jumped Daughter decided to do Thanksgiving at home. We had CV last Thanksgiving after she brought it home from a Cruise last Nov

Seen this done last yr on Serenade and on Radiance last month. Though we were on Port stops both times. Air Con kicked off, Lights, TV's, Internet. Was on my Aft Balcony chilling both times as the thick smoke kicked up from Below my Cabin.

Nope, My Grand Kids always have last 2 weeks of March off. Then my Kids had midwinter Break in Feb and always had first week of April off. Even yrs later Ship had ton of Kids on that week last yr as some have it closer or follow Easter changing dates yr to yr.
