  1. Found a wild one. Panama Canal in 2025, already back up to 2019 prices $4839 in Balcony for me SOLO. Was spoiled last 3yrs under CV pricing paying less then $3K inc last months Panama Canal Cruise. Kicker is if you want refundable Deposit? No problem, another $2884.50 more!
  2. Agree. My Cruises Internet and shore excursions are posting at usually 12 months out.
  3. True, My Sister and Brother in 2 different States had it written in Divorce that couldn't take kids over 3hrs away or out of State w/o other Parents permission. A standard for all Divorces in both States. Custodial/Non made no difference, both had Joint Legal. Glad my Parents got along so well, Dad and Step Dad worked same Company and would go Golfing and Bowling together
  4. Agree, most Prices are up ships and almost everything. Though comparing Cruises I took few weeks ago Booked 560-580 days ago in Peak CV Days to the prices released today while Royal Ships are filled at 110% Capacity can see why higher now. Long as people pay and Ships fill more Berths then ever before they will keep prices up. 35+ yrs Cruising only time watched them give away Cruises was Sept2001-May2002 and during CV. Cruises I do now longer Repos and Panama Canal are still cheaper then what was paying Pre-CV. Though last couple were about same as 5yrs ago
  5. Well the $7.99 is obviously the markup onboard. They are currently $2.24 at Walmart here in USA
  6. Kool, also ended up with 7 on my Cruise last Month. I lined them all up on back of my couch. Kept them up for my Grand Daughter
  7. My Daughter and her Families Favorite Class. Me, will stick with the smaller Ships til they are gone
  8. Agree, was pricing Independence TA last nite when they posted and prices not too bad compared to other Repos like Panama Canals released so far this yr
  9. True, accidents happen, everywhere. Seen many posted on Cruise Critic in last 26yrs. Couple yrs ago had Tour Bus flip with Passengers from our Royal Ship and a Celebrity, Injuries and Death. Then was on Panama Canal Cruise last month, massive rain with over yr worth in 2hrs. Was at a stand still, Trees came down, rock slide with a Huge Boulder landed 10 feet from our Van as we were hit with rocks and mud. We had to ride threw water in back of a Police PU, walk across a Bridge covered with water. Took us 6+ hours get the 3 miles back to Ship. Doing same Cruise next Oct, this wouldn't stop me from taking same Excursion
  10. On 2 of my Royal Cruises online App let me Answer the Health Questions 4 Days before the Cruise. Royal IT at its finest
  11. Sept 2023- "Insufficient rainfall continues to negatively impact the Gatun Lake, which feeds the canal, lowering its water level to 24.2 meters (79.7 feet), versus 26.6 meters (87.41 feet) for the month of September in recent years"
  12. Agree, seen many 70's AND 80s(with Glam and Madonna dressed) Parties on Royal for yrs now, usually on longer Cruises. That said 70's been going on for over 30yrs for Royal when in 90's showed my Kids their Dad could do the Electric Slide. Don't see it changing, are they going do update Dressed Grunge or Hip Hip for the 90's? Dress up like Teens Miley Cyrus or Taylor Swift to their 2010's Music... Not going happen
  13. Agree, always Book day Cruise Opens. Last Cruises I just completed were Booked at 560+ days out and were going for 2 and 3 times price by Final Payment
  14. Shoot in last 11yrs all but 1 or 2yrs wasnt able Book my last long Caribbean, Repo or PC Cruises until Spring, last dates not opening until March, April, May or even June
  15. Now that I think about it, also been 22yrs since got off at Nassau. Last time did was when Straw Market burned down and gave me a reason to get off see the damage. Was just me and my Kids, 3yrs & 5yrs old, Strange thing was we flew out on a Redeye getting home at 8am on 9/11/2001.
  16. HA, Yeah! Haven't been to CC in 22rs. My Ship stopped there twice last month, never got off. Not for me though 10K others did
  17. Times can vary week to week or ship to ship. I've seen earliest as 1030, 11, 1130 and even noon in US in last yr
  18. Was on B4B in Sept onboard was 25 Contractors doing work. They'd get off and back on with us for Zero count on turn around days. This area along with Conference Room was packed full inc new Coolers and the new thicker Mattresses that they were replacing each wk. Were also doing new wiring along all Passenger decks. Nice see area emptied out
  19. Or Buy one on Ebay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/204535698687?hash=item2f9f4714ff:g:FAQAAOSwoSZkC3Bf&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAA0AsY0O7XwvFEE8M6JgiDR4LfwKVJ8gX0r%2FdH%2BwTyZTxerJRpuzl2ohKqr7khhavU9CaW7lGlFFXa1FXVnn4ser3AC5NhxScXw9MIuiLFsOvlJaT1W%2FQ5E4qfslwbqJ1ijrn7JhfDp1MfeKwoX6Fp8nuy8zhjV4%2BbrOmUbUtK7Ful0K9wEd%2FonD2jjLGLj%2FJhq6nIIlffnfJyOP9zY3es0h2gQTjYuS%2FQo4LZbQ9mNJhbV0FnFeHp5aDaPcO%2B%2FpezHeuyBk77pJSx9KSQssdcJk8%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR8KX7qD3Yg
  20. Been a while but had Cruises show same and was also never an issue
  21. Spent 4wks on Serenade in Sept, 3wks on Radiance last month and can agree that food on Serenade was a lot better. Interesting as many same items are made different on each Ship. You'd think would be the same Fleet Wide
  22. True. Though not like during Covid shutdown, liked those when were priced at $399-599. But then most those Cruises were canceled later
  23. Agree, enjoying this Sized Ship(Vision/Radiance) long as I can. Haven't done anything larger in 22-23yrs. Usually have had only 1600-2050 passengers a Sailing, few Families & 20-30 Kids
