  1. Just found it on my booking.... 333B You have until the Nov 17 above... Nov 20 - Black and White Nov 30 - Red and Gold
  2. Can you pre-purchase extra OBC? I thought I remember reading a thread about this years ago but could not find it.
  3. Thank you for posting all of this! It is great to see what to expect when you book or get a certain cabin. We had 4136 on QE which was an obstructed oceanview kind of between lifeboats and there was some obstruction, but at least we could see the water and sun so we would book it again.
  4. Thank you Bluemarble! What a great way to get the excitement rolling for our cruise next October! Does anyone know if this is listing on our booking somewhere?
  5. I am sorry for the loss of your friend, and prayers to her family and friends.
  6. Thanks for taking us along and sharing your experiences! Have a nice cruise!
  7. Can anyone tell me what the price for Lunch in the Verandah costs or Dinner? Thanks!
  8. Thank you all for your help. We are Diamond so will get $135 each. Our next cruise is 34 nights which would cost $510 for basic and $680 for premium? That seems high and not as good as before but may be my perception. Guess will have to watch what we do. We will just have to only check emails and basic stuff I guess. How do they calculate it? Surely not by day?! It seems I think I remember that the old system gave you hours/minutes and you could use them whenever and when your time was up that was it. Thank you again!
  9. Hi Everyone, I know that I have seen a printed version of the current internet package (that came with the Daily Program?) information on someone's thread, but I just cannot locate it. Does anyone have a picture of the list from Cunard stating the info on the internet packages please? We are Diamond and I have seen that we would get $135 towards the package but I would like to know about the various packages. Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!
  10. I asked my TA several weeks ago and he said June 2023 (for 2025). I can't wait to see the schedules so we can start planning.
  11. It did not surprise us that Majestic had an increase in numbers of covid. We got off Majestic last month and we had at least 100 cases then. Thankfully we never got covid and wore our masks pretty regularly, plus we were fully vaccinated with both boosters. We saw that room stewards wore their masks, but in the buffet quite a few of the waiters (getting drinks, etc) did not and a lot of the people serving and cooking the food were not wearing masks. We saw quite a few passengers not wearing masks and coughing without covering mouths, etc. They had signs everywhere to wear masks indoors, and in elevators but a lot of people didn't and when someone said something to them there was a lot of ignoring and commenting under their breath. IF a cruise line is going to say something is mandatory, then they should be having staff making sure of that, otherwise don't have signs saying mandatory. 6 people per elevator signs but quite a few people ran in anyway. I did hear staff saying that they did not want to cause trouble by telling passengers about the masks, social distancing. In the main DR, the tables were not socially distanced either; lines in venues still had people right next to each other, sometimes, without masks. Some people we knew that had covid, said their cases were very mild and they had to isolate. I know we have to live with the virus, but it is hard to figure out the happy medium with rules regarding testing, masks, social distancing. If they want to reduce the numbers and decide masks have to be worn, maintain social distancing, etc. then factor in the acceptance of testing or no testing, accepting unvaccinated passengers, then where do we go from there? We were just glad to get out and travel again. On our cruise we had to test 3 days prior because our cruise was longer than the 16 days, and then we tested again at least two more times required by Princess before Hawaii and Tahiti.
  12. Thanks for your experience Lissie! There used to be a show that I remember watching years ago, a UK series, Trinnie and Susannah? They used to show women what clothes suited them and I used to think that is what I need but could never do it on TV! It had some great ideas too.
  13. I sure miss all the beautiful outfits that ladies posted of their cruise outfits! Maybe now that cruising is getting back to more of a normal, we can see them once again.
  14. Thank you, Lissie, for your great pictures! My "eye" for spotting clothes and the potential for outfits needs a lot of work!
  15. I would love to see pictures of your formal wear! I am not great at fashion so love examples of what to look for visually. What I like usually does not suit me, so I always like to see what others ideas are.
  16. We are interested in the WC release for 2025 so I emailed a TA who told us June 2023. The anticipation.......lol.
  17. I used live chat a couple of months ago and we live in Melbourne. I would see the "not online" until around 9am our time. They were very helpful both times we used it.
  18. Thank you, Lissie for sharing your experiences. It sounds a little depressing that Cunard seems to be losing their way a bit. I hope it is temporary and gets back to "normal". We haven't been on a Cunard cruise since 2019 that sailed from Japan to Vancouver, but have one scheduled on QE next October.
  19. Hi again Lissie! On your cruise, do you have a list of the excursions Cunard offered?
  20. Thank you, Hattie for posting your experiences on QV! I must agree with others that you have a great attitude and persevered through a lot! I am glad you and your husband made it through what sounds like a difficult time on your cruise. Like the OP said, I think we need to look for a cruise on QV in the near future! Thank you so much!
