  1. I tried last January, but appears she's no longer around.☹️
  2. Basic steam, sauna, rain shower and heated loungers. DW loves the steam room. There are several You Tube videos out that show what everything looks like.
  3. Based solely on deck plans I'd say decks 11-14 would be high enough to avoid the screaming from Deck 7.
  4. I'm hearing end of January. Thus far nothing for our mid January cruise.
  5. Costa Maya is primarily a beach port with some excursions to Mayan ruins. There are All Inclusive and walk on beach clubs along the malecon in Mahahual. Not sure what your group considers "fun" or what $ per person you'd like to spend.
  6. Can't recall from roll call, do you have a Dining Plan? If so, were you able to book that brunch via dining plan?
  7. Chops and 150 may request long pants. But I've worn and seen others wear nice golf shorts or dress shorts. in both places. Dress Up nights most men were long pants.
  8. NCL docks at Punta Langosta downtown.. There are pedicabs.
  9. Coz does have pedicabs. Costa Maya occasionally had trolleys. Recent reports appear to indicate no more trolleys.

Depends on where you go and how many people. We've tipped $5 for 2 to town and $10 for 2 to Playa Planacar.
  11. Mason Jar brunch is a good option. 150 Central doesn't open until dinner. Chops lunch is set up for the Key folks. Don't recall from April but I thought Players and Hooked were open.. Solarium Bistro should be open.
  12. SOTS itineraries aren't all that exciting either. Same ole Eastern/Western ports we've been to many times. $2200 pp for ocean view balcony plus all the add-ons like we have set up for the Wonder, hotel, dog kennel, etc. could eat a big hole in the 401K.
  13. There are reviews on Trip Advisor for a similar thing in Martinique.
  14. Cruise lines home ported in US are under Federal Law, not state law. Until Federal Law is changed, there won't be separate cannabis lounges.
  15. Is Whistle Pig on all ships now? Back in April it was only on the Wonder at the MasonJar bar and then at the Coco Beach Club. While favor single malts, the Dewar's 12 Year blend is not that bad of of sipping scotch.
  16. IMO, the pool at the port is one of the worst options. Even Tequila Beach and Playa Corona where they pester you to get a lounger are better and cheaper.
  17. I think Ya Ya and Pez Quadro still have walk in options. I believe Malecon 21 is walk in as well. Just south of NoHoch Kay and Malecon 21 is Sulumar. And then at the very far end of the malecon is Machos.
  18. I thinnk YaYa and Pez Quadro still have walk on options. Both have been around a long time. Krazy Lobster has expanded into places left vacant by other clubs.
  19. We're heading there in January. FB page has pictures from October, I think. Everything is great.
  20. Never had a problem with regular cord from CPAP and plug in by bed. Carry a 12 footer but only had to use in in some hotel rooms.
  21. If you've every eaten at a Morton's stateside, it's practically the same. Good steaks but, hey, you're on an island noted for really good local cuisine.

@GTJ, Just book a cruise that stops in Progresso.
  23. If the weather is nice, Jazz in Central Park is great.
  24. Gypsea Divers or Pepe's Divers are 2 great outfits. Also Mahahual Dive Center and Dr Dive have excursions. Most of these are off small boats taking 2-4 divers, plus boat crew and guide. All 4 have websites. All are located along the malecon in Mahahual. Mahaual Diving is the furtest away from port. Gypsea is the closest (mid malecon next to Nacional Beach Club) with Pepe's just a couple of spots down next to Jaime's Blue Reef. https://gypseadivers.com/ https://pepedivemahahual.com/en/diving/mahahual/ https://mahahualdive.com/ https://www.doctordive.com/
