  1. Mine usually came from the Los Angeles area and most of the time it seemed like they were stuck there for days until tracking showed that they were ready to be delivered. Today I see that our current order is in Bensenville IL awaiting pick up. Maybe they are changing up the shipping? We will see if they make a trip to Los Angeles before making their way to Arizona.
  2. Maybe the fine IT folks at Princess had a hard time determining which airports were domestic when they programmed what departure time to populate? 😄
  3. This is what I see for a mock booking for their cruise - note the prepopulated "Leave at" time is 10 AM: As I mentioned we board the same ship on the day that the OP departs so I already knew the allowable departure time for this cruise. And the arrival time in port on disembarkation day is exactly the same for the OP's cruise and my cruise. The ship arrives in Fort Lauderdale 6 AM and the domestic guideline is that flights should not be booked no earlier than 4 hours after arrival. This appears in the Itinerary in the Cruise Personalizer for my cruise: So I stand by my comment that the OP is asking about the feasibility of taking a flight that is 3 minutes before the earliest departure time recommended by Princess.
  4. Well it's the first time it's happened to me since they added the Package feature to the app and it disappeared after the last update so I figured I would report it here. But it's a minor annoyance as long as the package is shown in my documents. And the Medallions are already on their way at no charge so it's just something we may need to fix when we are onboard.
  5. You are 3 minutes earlier than the earliest allowed flight through EZAir so no, you're not crazy. We are actually on a 9:54 flight out of FLL a week later. If the ship is late then even the flights booked within the Princess preferred timing are in trouble so I wouldn't stress over it. The airport is very close, taxis are plentiful and if you are some of the first off you should get through security quickly with time to spare at the gate.
  6. With the iPhone update that I installed on November 10th the app no longer shows that we have a "Package" for our cruise early next month. The right info is still shown in the Personalizer (and in the Travel Summary that you can now access through the app) so it's somewhere in the systems. But there will be a visit to GS in our future if this isn't resolved before we board. Sigh. I was actually one of the guinea pigs for the latest version of the app just before the restart of cruising. I had lots of contact with the development team and reported issues most of which were fixed. Since then the app has mostly worked for me. Sadly the old email addresses that I had no longer work or I would try that.
  7. I used the Alinea option that did not require any linkage to our brokerage account. I only had to upload the same proof of stock ownership that I always have emailed / faxed to Princess in the past - a page from our brokerage statement with the account number redacted. Others on this thread have had success with that option too.
  8. Update: I submitted a request to redeem my Stockperks last Wednesday afternoon. I just got an email notification that it was applied this morning (Tuesday). So they do seem to be adhering to the within 5 business day timing for processing.
  9. Well the weather outside may be frightful but the casino has been delightful! Sorry you're missing a couple of Fiji stops but glad you are staying entertained on the Majestic.
  10. Cat 2 cyclone and power issues? Well I hope they come up with a good plan for all of that. By the way it just occurred to me that our paths may cross later this month but I see that you are on to New Caledonia on the 27th. We are in Sydney for 2 nights starting on the 30th before we board the Royal Princess. Stay safe and I hope the casino keeps treating you well!
  11. Over on the Oceania boards there are some ticked off folks as Oceania pulled the plug on Turkey visits this month. So there are some lines who seem to be overly cautious.
  12. Suva looks exactly like it did when we were there in 2019. Hope the weather clears for you. Oh and I love when the lounge does themes. What fun!
  13. We will also be traveling on Oceania for the first time early next year. While reviewing the dress code I see that sandals are listed as something that guests are "requested" not to wear. Here in Arizona nice sandals would be welcomed at a country club or other restaurant for that matter for ladies. Do they actually turn ladies away from the dining rooms if they aren't wearing closed-toed shoes?
  14. I've now reached out to both the Intercontinental and Hilton to ask them about day rooms to see if I have any luck there (and if their policies may have changed). A friend also found the generic information in the screenshot below on the Oceania website so I'm going to ask our TA if she can find out if this is available for our cruise and if so what the pricing would be. Will post back when I find more answers but I appreciate all of the input so far! It's our first time with Oceania and first time staying in Tahiti so it's great to be able to have a group of experienced cruisers to answer questions.
  15. Thanks for the quick response. I assume that there is at least a secure place to keep your luggage? And hopefully an outdoor shower to at least freshen up a bit before departing to the airport? If you've already done this or have answers would love to hear more!
  16. We are cruising on the Nautica next February so I'm searching for what we will do between disembarking the ship and going to the airport for our 10:40 PM flight. When the Pacific Princess used to do this itinerary they used to let travelers keep their luggage on the ship on the final day. Does Oceania do that? I accessed the link for the day pass at the Intercontinental Hotel but don't see that the use of a shower is included. I can write to them to ask but was just curious if anyone here has any recent experience. I'm actually surprised that Oceania doesn't have a debark tour listed for Papeete. Does anyone know if one will be offered onboard?
  17. It looks like the app is adhering to the published end date of the OBC offer, something I haven't had happen to my faxed or email requests. Someone on another forum published getting this message after trying to request OBC for a mid-2024 cruise.
  18. Have you checked recently? There's a 50% off sale happening and the fares are down quite a bit for some of the cruises I've been following. So much for no more last minute discounts 😆
  19. They started returning anything sent via email yesterday with instructions to download the app to claim your SHOBC. You're lucky you got it in before they pulled the plug on the email submissions.
  20. Excellent! And I see that I was missing an "e" as it's "Alinea". You figured it out though 😀
  21. Taking full advantage of the Premier Package photo perks I see. Nice picture!
  22. I just uploaded the page from my brokerage account (with the account number redacted) that showed my CCL shares. Not sure what they did from there but it was approved. ETA: My statement was approved, the actual awarding of SHOBC is still "in progress".
  23. Good question. How they verify eligibility for a perk isn't shown on the Stockperks website, at least from what I've read. At least in my case they don't have my log in credentials nor do they have my brokerage account number (I 'xed it out on the document I submitted). And from what I can see I haven't given them the right to access the details of my brokerage account. I see this email address for question though and it might be worth asking: carnivalcorp@stockperks.com .
