  1. I'm guilty of that too! Not only do you get a couple bottles delivered each day but you also can stop by the concierge lounge to get more. And then you get some in the Suite / Elite mini bar. My husband is used to me needing to have several bottles of water handy. It's kind of like my security blanket. But getting the water package when you're in a suite is overkill even to me LOL.
  2. Agree that they should at a minimum allow cancellation with no penalty. This isn't an "Alaska" or "Caribbean" cruise where you may miss a port but make others to still experience the spirit of the cruise you booked. Celebrity sold this (and is still selling it) as "Israel, Egypt & Med". Given that it's only "Med" now they should definitely offer some flexibility given that this isn't anything close to the unique cruise that folks booked. This isn't a knock on Celebrity in terms of their efforts to line up new ports in a very short time frame under no doubt difficult circumstances. Just that they should take one step further to allow cancellation with full restoration of amounts paid as FCCs.
  3. Interesting that they are still calling this a "Israel, Egypt & Med" cruise.
  4. I read about that. Glad they were able to get out of there with all of their passengers safely back on board!
  5. For the Celebrity October 16th cruise on the Apex the new ports are Mykonos, Santorini, and Rhodes. Glad we chose to cancel before final payment date. While those are all lovely ports we've been to all of them already and the premium fare for this cruise doesn't really make those anywhere near an even trade for 3 days in Israel. Best to be safe but it just seems that Celebrity could have done better with substitute ports. Praying for peace.
  6. Here's the new itinerary for the next Apex sailing.
  7. We were scheduled to depart on October 16th on the Celebrity Apex for a 10 day cruise including 3 stops in Israel. Given the events happening before final payment date we chose to cancel. It's doubtful that they will be able to host cruise passengers any time soon. Prayers for Israel.
  8. We cancelled a cruise in July and just got our NRD FCC this week. An expiration date of 10/4/24 is shown. A couple of questions: 1) Did the FCCs issued under the pre-3/1/23 non refundable deposit policy always require using them within a year or should it be unlimited? 2) Does anyone know if the expiration date is a use by or sail by date? I can call Celebrity to ask but I'd like to know what others have experienced with these FCCs before I do that. This was to have been our first Celebrity cruise so I'm not familiar at all with their policies. Thanks!
  9. Advantage offers usually apply to any cruise within a specified time frame and up to a specified # of days. These used to be called Core offers. Hearts offers apply to a limited number of cruises on which special events are held. You'll get some gifts in the cabin, free drinks while gambling, and you can participate in published events. These used to be called VIP cruises. Details should be in your mailer (email and / or snail mail).
  10. No, you can't get credit from a land based casino loyalty program while you are sailing on Carnival Corp ships. As you've learned you can earn free or discounted cruises from land based casinos but that's about it.
  11. I couldn't agree more. We love Sabatini's and liked the quiet location. Sur la Mer is no more. Unsure about what they are doing in the pasta kitchen. Hopefully @Yowman can answer that. It is (was?) the area immediately on the right as you are walking into what is now The Catch.
  12. They moved Sabatini's to the Piazza and The Catch took over the space formerly occupied by Sabatini's.
  13. Yep, still $7,08 for a 12 pack. Not available for itineraries in Australia.
  14. The only contacts that I have found are those I posted last month in post #14 above. Good luck!
  15. Actually we have all guessed what may have caused Princess to send that notice to the OP, none of us knows for sure. Hopefully we will find out soon enough.
  16. That seems to be the case. However, unlike other recent threads about price increases this one originated with a notice that actually came from Princess. I for one would like to know if Princess ultimately issues a retraction or if the OP hears anything more from Princess about it. So I do hope that this thread stays "live", for those who disagree there are plenty of other posts to comment on,
  17. It appears to me that is the all in price inclusive of insurance as it's $60 X 14 X 1.09 (the new cost for PVP - standard). It is asking for payment info at this step so I'm fairly sure that is the total you would owe.
  18. Thanks. I guess it will remain a mystery but for now at least it seems like there won't be a price increase!
  19. Wondering if they accidentally mailed a promo flyer intended by Australia customers to the US? Is there anything in the fine print indicating AUD?
  20. When we participated in the 360 trial last October on the Discovery we were told that it would be sold at $150 pp so that seems to have been the plan all along. It just was a surprise that it took them a while to start charging for it but it was inevitable.
  21. From pages 94 and 95 of the Princess 2024 Alaska brochure (here: https://www.princess.com/html/global/brochures/pc/2024-alaska.pdf )
  22. Yes, the guidance about testing disappeared from the Princess website almost simultaneously with the government’s announcement. I don’t recall Princess ever making an update so swiftly.
  23. One of the contacts is still good so if you sent it to all on the original list that could be why you heard back. Not sure the others are still there. Well Jan is but she's moved up in in HA group - not sure if she kept her Princess email address?
  24. No it isn't. Here's the up to date list of contacts per the elliotdotorg website: Email Contacts customerrelations@princesscruises.com Executive Contacts Primary Contact Collin Steinke Director, Customer Relations 24305 Town Center Drive Santa Clarita, CA 91355 csteinke@princesscruises.com Secondary Contact Lorna Warren Vice President Guest Services 24305 Town Center Drive Santa Clarita, CA 91355 lwarren@princesscruises.com Chief Executive John Padgett President 24305 Town Center Drive Santa Clarita, CA 91355 jpadgett@princesscruises.com Also, try padgett@HAGroup.com
  25. Did you enable the "do not disturb" feature on the screen? That should help too. If you had it on and the steward entered that's another story.
