  1. It depends on so many things. We spend very little time in our cabin, so we’re not worried. I wouldn’t have said they were any smaller than standard cabins on HAL which is the other line we’ve been on. If you don’t want to pay the extra for a Club Continent Suite which has 50% more space than the standard Inside, Ocean View & Balcony cabins, there are 4 Ocean View cabins that are quite a lot bigger. These are the front two side cabins on Decks 6 & 7 (6004, 6005, 7006, 7007). The cabins next door to them have balconies, but these 4 have that balcony space incorporated inside the cabin.
  2. According to ‘Webstaurantstore.com’, hard cider is alcoholic and apple cider is apple juice in the US.
  3. Yes some, but not a massive stock. Last cruise I used up some OBC buying a DKNY fragrance & my husband bought Obsession after shave
  4. Yes, ours in November in Aqaba is off the ship.
  5. The best one we’ve been to was in Bangkok - taken to the ‘Ancient City’ (park with third size replicas of major Bangkok sites), then little train to middle of the park, nibbles, drinks, then show including 2 sorts of traditional dancing plus a kick boxing display by local teenagers, then fireworks. Finished off being given a floating candle/lamp we were invited to float off down the stream. It was magical.
  6. There are 2 Iceland Cruises in August - 9 August isn’t showing a Destination Celebration, 16 August is. Nothing showing for 1 October cruise.
  7. No it’s a Destination Celebration, so is onboard and there are two performances.
  8. Is this the October 10 Cruise on Onward? If so your Destination Celebration Event is shown in the Shore Excursions brochure as being in Florence on 18 October. It’s called Enchanting Tuscany & is described as follows “ Celebrate your arrival to Florence with the best of Italian opera - a performance by Incanto Quartet accompanied by a pianist.“
  9. I agree, but I can see that there is a risk of infection in a balcony cabin if you have neighbours.
  10. I’m sure you’re right. Our Oct 29 cruise on Quest has an Azamazing Evening in Aqaba in November. It’s a concert at a hotel.
  11. I’ve added the questions and answers about sparkling water & items in your fridge to the spreadsheet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/15Deg-GaeZYLml8NN3PVwoh_jUkQ8QmYUe1wxnVAlODE/edit
  12. Cruise is at the end of October. We’re booked in one of the 4 extra large Ocean View staterooms. Got an upgrade offer today of £170 pp to Verandah & £255 pp for Verandah Plus. Not interested in VerandahPlus as we have an Indulgence Package which gives us most of the benefits of a Verandah Plus. We looked at the available Verandah rooms & they were all OK so we opted to bid just above the minimum for a Verandah, not bothered if we don’t get it as we love the large OceanView rooms. Will come back & say if it was accepted.
  13. This page from the UK site has contact numbers & an email link in the section headed ‘An onshore Azamara Circle Desk’ https://www.azamara.co.uk/loyalty/azamara-circle
  14. You can book excursions anytime using your ‘Voyage Planner’, whether you have made the final payment or not. You won’t be able to check-in yet, it’s too soon. There is nowhere in your account on the website that shows your payments. As suggested above, it’s probably worth contacting the Circle Club to ask for their help. I had a similar issue - I bought the Ultimate Package & had no receipt for it. I emailed Customer Service & got no response, so I contacted the Circle Ambassador and got a receipt shortly afterwards.
  15. I guess it depends on the weather. Ours in Tromso in July was outside, but it was a sunny evening.
  16. We did a cruise to Norway in July a couple of years ago. We had snow in Flam! We took lots of layers which worked well as the weather varied - it was warm & sunny in Bergen. No-one wore sundresses and sandals though. Our White Night was in Tromso - most people wore long sleeves and lots wore jackets on top. It was great though - still light at midnight!
  17. There are sodas in cans, no fountain drinks. Your fridge will have some in it & if you tell your cabin steward which ones you like, they will keep your fridge stocked up. The sodas in the fridge at pre included, even tho’ the alcohol there isn’t. All the bars have sodas in cans.
  18. We have cruised into Egypt 3 times with Azamara & they have always organised visas for everyone.
  19. You will need to collect it yourselves.
  20. We haven’t had any significant rain for weeks. Our grass lawn is looking very brown and dry as we don’t water it. We’re watering all our bedding plants & they’re looking pretty good. Its hot here today, (29C in the shade) but not as hot as other areas. They say it could get up to 40C on Tuesday.
  21. Here’s the spreadsheet link again https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/15Deg-GaeZYLml8NN3PVwoh_jUkQ8QmYUe1wxnVAlODE/edit
  22. Just had a look at our October cruise. The ship is due to arrive in Aqaba at 8am and the first excursions start at 8:30 am. My memory tells me that you can disembark in many ports pretty much as soon as the ship has tied up (presuming it’s moored, not anchored with tendering to get ashore), so you may be OK, so long as the ship arrives on time. It does, though, depend on the port, as blag says. For instance Indian ports have a lot of bureaucracy to go through before you can get off and then you can get held up at the dock gates.
  23. No, this is one of the problems with Azamara, you can’t see your bookings, other than excursions, anywhere on your account. Did Azamara send you a receipt for your purchases? If not it might be a good idea to email or ring them to ask them to send you proof of your purchases. I had the same issue regarding my purchase of the Ultimate package. My Travel Agent contacted them and they emailed me a receipt as proof that I had purchased it.
  24. Good idea to post this on the roll call for your cruise.
