Already did Antartica on Infinity. As soon as I hit a lottery I will book an Expeditio cruise. I enjoyed Galapagos Islands with Celebrity much more than Antartica. Any cruise on Celebrity is wonderful.

Why would I want to dine in Trellis? I have been booking Aqua since it was first introduced on the roll out of Solstice. Can't ever recall having to wait more than a few minutes for a table in Blu. Why would I want a reservation to dine. I enjoy dining when it suits my schedule not at a designated time.

I have 2 cruises booked with Celebrity. If they are going to permit vaping I will not be entering the casino. Why are they changing their policy and enabeling? I switched to Celebrity becasue of their non smoking/vaping policy. Guess they too have lost their minds.

Both NCL and RCL have ships named Jewel. I have sailed both. I prefer Celebrity over any other cruise line. Try it you most likely will love it.

You should have no problem getting a table for two, however you will have a table for two about 6 inches away from you which at times may actually turn into a table for 6 or 8. Good Luck and Happy Sails.

Some times it is CC level other times it has been cabin category and once it was our Cruise Critic Meet&Greet group which was large and very active.

Our flights booked through Viking River Cruises cancelled a few weeks ago. I called the same day and was rebooked. Lady gave me a routing and I casually asked if Delta flew that route. She schecked and said yes and immediately switched us to Delta. We are NOT CHECKING LUGGAGE as friends have had luggage delivered 3 days post flight and 6 days post flight. We will just take less changes of clothes and do carry on. Flying in recent months has become a real challenge. I am trying to figure out how to chill and go with the flow. Return flights don't concern me as much as I get home when I get home. I however do need to meet my cruise.

Make the call and get is straightened out immediately and save yourself a lot of aggrevation.

We sail September 1 and I have been able to see my shore excursions, dining reservations and other information for at least the past month on my phone Celebrity App

I recently switched a 2023 cruise. Do Not Cancel according to Celebrity. You keep same booking number and things just get switched. This was US not UK

Are you on Apex? I received my luggage tags this morning. I was able to print my boarding pass a week or so ago.

When you speak of walking and walking times are you referring to the normal healthy person? I question if a person with mobility issues would be capable of doing this walk. We will be arriving in Amesterdam on a Viking River Cruise and then after 4 nights in Amsterday will be sailing on Celebrity Apex. I can't imagine walking from where tram/bus stop is to the Cruise terminals. Someone did mention that it is possible to Uber or take a cab.

We have switched to carryons since hearing of the issues with airlines and luggage. One friend on Viking River cruise finally received her luggage the 3rd day of cruise and another friend visiting her homeland Scotland received her luggage the 6th day of her visit. Not possible to cruise without changes of clothing for me. Already put suitcase which I planned to check back in storage. I will do with less.

Normally Celebrity cruises in USA want you off the ship by 9am local time. Since our flight is the following day we have no need to exit earlier. We have a hotel booked near airport and I seem to remember check in is 2pm or later. When we arrive in Amsterdam from our Viking River Cruise our hotel for the 4 nights is relatively close to Central Station area and again check in most likely is in the afternoon. Hope to be able to find a taxi to hotel as it might be difficult walking for blocks with luggage.

We decided against checed bags and are going with minimum clothing options and just traveling with carry on luggage. Had one friend who waited 3 days for luggage to catch up and another 6 days. That is tolerable traveling home but not traveling on 2 cruises. Will we still need to stand in cheking baggage line even though we are not checking any bags?

So there is a taxi stand at the cruise terminal? I did not see that mentioned in any of the literature I have read. Is there a taxi stand near the Viking River Cruise dock in Amsterdam? We will be arriving via Viking but then sailing on Celebrity Apex 4 days later.

That is the question I have been trying to find an answer to for about a month. Need a test to sail on Apex on September 1. We do not need a test post cruise to fly back to USA. So, Travelgirl, where do we get a test in Amsterdam between August 28 when we arrive and September 1 when we sail? Please

Do you know if it is possible for someone with mobility issues to get wheelchair service like at USA cruiseports?

We are scheduled to fly from Amsterdam to Tampa, FL on September 12, 2022. We have never been to Amsterdam. After reading this thread I am already having nightmares. There is no way I can stand in line for hours or walk from area to area as described in one of the posts. They would be calling an ambulance to rush me to nearest hospital. Do I have any options? When I cruise I normally request wheelchair assistance. Is that an option at Amsterdam aiport? Another question. We will be entering Amsterdam on a Viking River Longboat and then staying at a hotel in Amsterdam for 4 nights before boarding Celebrity Apex for a 10 night British Isles cruise. When we return on Apex we will be spending 1 night at a hotel near the airport. We will need a Covid negative report to board Apex. Does anyone know of a location in Central Amsterdam where we can get this test? Do they have a test site at the Cruise Port? We are not supposed to need a test post cruise to fly back to Tampa, unless USA changes rules again.

I found it. I was especially looking for Amsterdam and it is there. We are scheduled for a Viking River Cruise, 4 nights in Ameserdam and the Celebrity British Isles next month. Thanks for sending me to the forums I have been hunting. Happy Sails

My bad Bo. I am looking for European countries. I spent almost 2 months in Alaska by ferry, train, car, cruise ship so to many other countries to explore. I used the special boards for Bermuda and Cuba cruises. Thanks anyway.

I have used the special boards for years but Senior Moment, can't remember how to find them since I wasn't able to sail for 2+years. Where are they hiding?

Most that I have finally spoken with were working from home and most were not in the USA.
