Have always had to get off the ship on B2B for about 10 or so minutes and go ashore and show passports I believe. Haven't done B2B recently so maybe things have changed. We would then get back on board and be issued a new card. Could keep the old one but it was deactivated.

Always booked anytime dining if we had to dine in MDR. Flexibility. We only had to tell dietary restrictions once no matter where we were seated. Chef even came out from kitchen first time and we discussed with him. Never an issue.

When I requested a wheel chair I was checked in immediately and also sent to the front of the security line. Haven't had to wait with Celebrity or Royal. SPEAK UP

Check in earlier. I could have had 1130 am if I wanted but that is to early for me. I choose 1230 instead. Time for lunch and not to long until cabin is ready.

Why didn't you contact the Hotel Manager? This is an issue that needed to be brought directly to management attention.

You can even have a party for many. Once on Constellation our entire roll call joined Royal Suite cruisers for a party. They arranged with their butler for plattters of snacks and each guest cabin brought a bottle of wine to share. We all met there after our organized Cabin Crawl and the party lasted for literally hours. As frequent cruisers I am certain the butler was well taken care of. We were in a Celebrity Suite and included it in the Cabin Crawl. That cruise had such a great roll call we also enjoyed a Bar Crawl, Poker Draw, Meet and Greet Gift Exchange, a SailAway on copter deck and finally a group dinner. One great gourp of fun cruisers.

If I wanted to relax and enjoy dinner on my balcony, why would I order my dinner and leave the cabin? I would already have gone to the closest bar and ordered drinks to go with dinner and then returned to my cabin and would be patiently waiting for my dinner to be delivered. I would then enjoy.

I decided many years ago that I knew no one on the cruise. I wasn't trying to impress anyone and there was no "best dressed" contest. Thus, I began packing black slacks and dress blouses. I can't remember wearing a dress in about 20 at home or on a cruise. You are cruising for your enjoyment pleasure. Do what makes you happy. For me life is to short to worry about what to wear on a cruise. With airlines charging per bag, I take what fits in what is permitted for free. If it doesn't fit, it stays home. Happy Sails

Been followint posts of Happycruiser for years and have never seen any incorrect infromation posted. Also Jelayne is an excellent source of information. I was on Constellation in April in a Sky Suite and the service was awesome. Everything I asked for or needed was taken care of immediately and yes I was contacted about 2 weeks prior to sailing. As was suggested, "relax" all we will be wonderful especially if you have a Royal Suite. I have sailed in a Celebrity Suite and Butler service was above and beyond. Enjoy your cruise. I am on Apex September 1 in an AQUA and have found the service there outstanding too.

Have never sailed Holland Am but friends I know have and told me it is for OLD people. My friends and I are all over 80 but don't look, think or act old. You will have to try and judge. I called once but at that time they permitted smoking throughout the ship. As an ex smoker that wouldn't work for me. I prefer Celebrity's non smoking policy.

Wonder if it was the same guy who ran the golf putting in April. He needs to go to Carnival as not Celebrity ready.

I made reservations for MDR's for our September 2022 Apex sailing a few months ago, No problem and got 7 pm each night I selected. I normally do not eat in MDR as I usually sail AQUA or SUITE but I was curious as to this new concept of 4. If we don't care for it we will just dine in BLU.

You may have plenty of time but the "old snooze you loose." got me twice recently. I told myself I'll book next week and next week excursion was SOLD OUT. Now I have to figure a plan B. Yes, I too have noticed that there are not as many excursions to choose among and some appear and then disappear. I booked a cruise for October 2023 and there are no excursions available to book yet.

I have booked repeatedly on Celebrity and Royal while on a cruise. I like the low deposit per person. I normally have the cruise in mind before I meet with the planner. They give you copies of your booking and at times they even are able to include other perks. Check it out.

Does this only apply to dining packages? I booked 1st night Specialty Restaurant for our Apex cruise in September 2022 and was able to select the time when I booked and paid.

Tip has been included for years. I didn't know they stopped including the tip. I have been known to tip extra.

I had a NRD cruise booked on Beyond and decided to switch it to an Apex cruise. No problem. I believe they just reassigned the Beyond booking number to Apex. I could not cancel Beyond without penalty.

Have sailed AQUA and eaten in BLU since it first came out on Solstice. You can ask for and receive anything that is in their kitchen or a nearby kitchen. You can order as much or as little as you like to enjoy. As someone said you can also arrange to eat in MDR on lobster night if you like. Sailed with people who ordered 3 lobsters. A positve for Celebrity if have found is they go out of their way to please. Just ask politely with a smile and your wish will be their command.

Where/How do you get the Emed kit?

I use Quest Diagnostics for all of my testing. Are they offering free testing for travel? We travel in August 2022

I sailed my 5th cruise on the Constellation in April 2022. She was supposed to refurbished in April 2020 but the refurbishment had to be cancelled due to Covid19 and cruises being shut down. To the best of my knowledge she has not been rescheduled. I still love her and her crew and we had an awesome 10 night cruise.
