Oh…wasn’t sonu fabulous? He was our butler on the riviera in February. We renewed our vows in privee and Sonu escorted me to the ceremony. He certainly made our cruise special. k🛳

We have not sailed on marina yet, but have stayed many times in 11080 and 11083 on Riviera and I believe they are identical. The only deck access on Riviera is from the living room. There is a square window in the bedroom and a large round window in the bathroom. These two suites are our favorites! enjoy! k🛳

Home Lines Oceanic-1978. Loved every minute of the hurricane cruise, even the water spout that traveled over the stern taking lounge chairs with it! We were hooked!

We often get a smaller pasta portion as a starter. We’ve even had the waiter suggest it.

8066 and 8069 are the 2 concierge cabins nestled between the 2 owners suites on deck 8. I stayed in 8066 once and don’t recall any noise from the terrace cafe. One thing that is noteworthy in that cabin is the length of the balcony. It is very deep and some people have commented in other threads that it makes the cabin feel like a tunnel. We had no problem and appreciated the larger balcony. k

I inquired about flowers for my anniversary celebration and I was told they could order flowers to be picked up in port. The problem was we wanted them after 2 days at sea, so flowers would not have been fresh. O said what we received would depend on what was available in the port when they were ordered. k

Deck 11 has a much larger balcony and a fantastic wake view.

actually many of the ships are now sailing with Oceania. I loved them as Renaissance, too.

Another vote for the Vietnamese coffee! It wasn’t offered often, but when it was I indulged!

hotel Bretagne has a rooftop restaurant. The view was so fantastic, I don’t even remember how the food was! Enjoy!

I was able to add our friends with a call to my travel agent, but it was only an additional couple. We were also entitled to 2 reservations per restaurant. The other couple were only entitled to 1 in each restaurant. Once onboard your butler may be able to facilitate another reservation.

always get the package and never have to sign. They do take your card and return it with the drinks, but no signature required. k

Just disembarked riviera 2/10 and I had a curling iron with me. Used it daily, unplugged when not in use. It was out in the open on the counter.

In my experience, the last aft PH3 on each end has a metal bar at the top that forms a triangle and slightly obstructs the view. It’s not very big, but is in the way when looking aft. Not sure I’m explaining it right, but it did prompt us to choose a further forward PH3 on subsequent sailings. I think one of them was 8065? k

Maybe it appears as a “saved” cruise?

We’ve always had shower gel. Sometimes the bottle said shampoo/shower gel. Isn’t that the same as body wash?

You can not carry a glass of wine into the dining room unless it was purchased at a bar pre dinner. If you don’t pay corkage fee, any wine brought on must be consumed in your cabin.

So….I’ve searched and searched and can’t find where it said that…I know I saw it! However, I just did a mock booking for a cruise I have booked and lo and behold…free gratuities are listed as an included amenity below where the choices are for OLife. My guess is that it now includes free gratuities. I will check with my TA later. this may bode well for you, Rob! k🦃

Good luck rob. I’d be interested to know if PH gratuities would be covered by the Black Friday sale. The advertisement said PHs and above not included. hope it works for you.
