    Are all of the junior suites sofa and chair on Allure (Oasis class) by the balcony? I didn’t find any that had the bed by the balcony. Can someone confirm? I prefer a cabin where bed is by balcony when there is a choice, but if there isn’t a choice, I won’t worry about it. I was looking at cabins 8240 and 8242. Thanks in advance!

    Are there any cabins on deck 6 you would avoid?

    So for traditional dining on Allure, you could be placed on either deck 4 or 5? or are you referring to MTD?

    Deck 6 can be a good location but take a look at deck 5 to see what is below your cabin. I wonder if it’s under Boleros can you see music from there? I’m not sure, but I would wonder.

    My last two cruise experiences were for 2 people and for 4 people. As a couple, it was probably an average of 1 hour 15 min. to 1 1/2 hours. As two couples, our average was 2 hours, sometimes longer on our last cruise. We prefer 1 1/2 hours.

    I usually pile food onto a plate...a couple of hots, couple of colds, cover it with a plate and then bring back a drink. Usually coffee is the winner when it's breakfast time LOL

    45 days before and just after midnight on Day 45. Midnight, Galveston time (CST). So Im here on east coast, I would login to check in at 1am my time. That's to get the very earliest times. A lot of folks report doing it in the morning and still getting an early time though.

    I always wondered if the pre-cruise costs were the same or cheaper than their on board port or other deals

    I believe someone a few weeks ago mentioned theirs being pushed back an hour on Allure out of Galveston. I'm not sure why it's happening

    I am also wondering if the connecting oceanview cabins are directly in front of the opening of the stairway/elevator area. I'm hoping there wouldn't be any noise there.

    We are thinking of switching to a Grand Suite on Allure of the Seas. I see some of them have connecting ocean-view cabins. My brother would move to this cabin. Are the connecting walls removable on the balcony? So we can share one large balcony? Thanks!

    Give the cruiseline a call. I just called yesterday to see what a cruise transfer from Galveston Pier to William Hobby airport and was told $31.95 a person. I'm not sure what it is for the other airport (it's further away).

    Yes, the Royal Caribbean customer service agent. Of course, he could have been wrong. I was only interested from pier to airport (William Hobby) back we are arriving a couple of days early. It was either $31.95 or $31.99 a person. I am thinking it would cost the same from airport to pier too.

    I just called and asked how much a cruise transfer from ship to William Hobby Airport is and I was told it's $31.99 a person. That seems reasonable. We have never used a cruise transfer before. I'm going to check into other shuttles or cars too.

    I have always found it worth it. I will get 3 or 4 fountain drinks, a coffee or two, at least 2 or 3 water bottles a day to take off ship. Oh, and fresh squeezed OJ when we are in the main dining room! I hope that is breaking even, but if not, I like the idea it's covered.

    I think the first question to ask yourself is do you want a boardwalk cabin or an ocean view cabin. For me, I prefer to be more mid. I have done Oasis class, and deck 7 is just a pain. To get to one side of the ship, I have to go up one deck, or go down one deck. That's a no go for me.
