They will send you an email to let you know the form is ready. As DevonUK says be careful how you answer the questions. Under the current rules, if you answer yes to a question about coughs, they will cancel your trip, even if your cough wasn't covid, and they won't change it.

On P&O you do get separate room for breakfast. On Aurora it was in the Glass House and was far better than the MDR. Some P&O suite guests use Speciality Dining Restaurants most nights, using the money they save by booking a P&O suite rather than Cunard.

We booked a Japan cruise with Celebrity for March 23, which was moved by them to March 24 many months ago. As fas as I can tell the only lines selling Japan cruises for 22-23 are Princess and Cunard and all other lines were cancelled.

On Azura in October there was no little biscuit served with Costa coffee but at least cake was still free with the drink

There was a similar issue on the fly cruises to and from Tenerife on Azura that began in October. P&O chartered jet2 from LGW (jet2 does not usually fly from there) so I guess they are still negotiating this.

I thought they had remedied this by not having the pool full? But then it wouldn't be an infinity pool.

I looked at the itineraries, nothing appeals atm. I am more interested in long haul destinations that P&O don't go to but I would consider a late deal nearer the time.

My DH and I disagree about whether people like formal nights or not ( he doesn't). I think they are still popular, my evidence being that, having just been on Azura for 2 weeks, formal nights in the freedom dining restaurants were very busy, much busier than other nights and service was very slow.

There is a page of Iona cabins and suites on the site you mention. It lists cabins with a window seat or not, and whether the bed is near the window or the wardrobes. Sorry not to have answered the question about specific cabins!

Morning! 2 things I hope you find useful Firstly on our recent P&O fly cruise lots of people ticked yes to every question on the health questionaire including the covid /cough one. As a real persom was present ( as opposed to a bot) to check the forms, they were able to check the replies and amend them. Secondly in Jill Insley's column in the Sunday Times there was an article about covid isolation on a Cunard ship. The passengers wanted a refund not an fcc so they made an insurance claim. One was covered by Saga who paid out, the other by Aviva who didn't but when challenged by Jill paid £450 for the 9 day quarantine period and £50 for inconvenience. They used the emergency medical assistance outside the home territory and confined to accommodation clause, and even though they weren't entitled to anything under this clause Aviva made a goodwill payment. I don't have a link to this but I can post a photo of the article later if anyone wants it.

If you haven't been to these places before I suggest a cable car and basket ride (sorry I might not have got the name right) in Madeira. Tenerife- Mount Teide and Lanzarote - Fire Mountain. There is a lot more to see on the islands so it depends on your interests. You can do this by ship's tours or with a bit of research you could find a DIY way.

The walk into town in Gibraltar always seems quite long to me. There is a shuttle outside the port into town, sorry I can't remember the price. You can get a taxi outside the port and the driver can take you to the main sites. You can DIY the cable car but it is the far end of the town and the last bit is up a steep hill.

There seems to be nothing like that available now, the entertainment on Azura in the last 2 weeks was uninspiring, my DH was so bored he suggested we go to an art talk ( that is so unlike him) but unfortunately the guy who gave the talk had been on QE in January and he gave an identical talk. I think a lot of people who did the carft calsses ahve not returned since covid. We recentley discoved one of DH's ex bosses used to gve talks on cruises and is wife did jewellery making classes but they just don't want to do it anymore.

If I've retired by 2025 I might be tempted by the 35 nights on Iona but having just had 2 weeks on Azura with limited entertainment on sea days I don't think I could stand it. By limited I mean lack of variety or scheduling 3 things I want to do at the same time e.g. Fit steps, choir, art talk all on at 11 am. Lots of music if that's your thing.

I believe the upgrade of the hepa filters was a condition set by the government to allow the ships to restart. I used to have cruise cough but have not had any trouble with it on the 5 cruises I have done since the restart.

I don't recall any passenger's names being called out yesterday. I remember thinking it was unusual not to hear someone being named and shamed!
