Nope. Nothing but 'Communication Preferences' which is worthless.

    New website.

When I logged in all I see is Communication Preferences and Upcoming cruises which just give the March 27th message. I could not see how to view my Profile...what did you click on? Thanks!
  3. We were in an owner's suite on the Onward in December. There was NO charge for anything in the fridge. Actually, I swapped the welcome Sparkling wine for a Chardonnay. There are also bottle of spirits in the room - we kept the Gin but I also swapped the Rum & Vodka for additional bottles of wine. No muss, no fuss, and no extra charges. We did not have any of the beverage packages. I found it easier to run down to a bar and bring any other drinks back to the room - like afternoon Pina Coladas.
  4. Thanks! I'm definitely planning on waiting till we are onboard. If I can get the final payment delayed that's a big benefit. I really hate having to pay if full 1-2 years out.
  5. Is there any additional benefit to booking a cruise while onboard?
  6. Thanks SO much for the information. We only travel with Carry on - basically a standard roller board and the bag that sits on top of it. It always amazes me on the size and quantity of luggage that people bring. Even on a 2 week cruise, we still seem to have stuff we didn't wear, plus we always do laundry. But, based on your information - I'm going to try and pack even lighter!
  7. HI, Yep, I read through the Jan 6 roll call as well as ours. It really sounded like getting from the ship to the airport was awful. I'm just wondering if the current cruise had issues in Manaus as well. Based on what was said, I booked a private transfer for our group of 8 from the port to the airport for March 3 when we head to Rio. We always do only carry on - I advised our group to do the same. We'll have to get together once we are on the ship! Cheers, Laurie
  8. Thanks! Did you have any issues with Dis-embarkation?
  9. We are on the next Amazon cruise from San Juan to Manus, Feb 19->Mar 3. The first sailing to Manaus seemed to have issues with disembarkation and with water restrictions. Just wondering if there were any issue embarking in Manaus? Any water restriction issue? Any information that can be provided will be most helpful!
  10. This is certainly an interesting discussion. I have to agree that research is KEY to planning a trip to this type of destination. That is why after the cruise on March 3, 8 of us will be flying on LATAM from MAO to GIG and spend 3 nights in Rio before flying back to the US. Not only were the flight options from MAO back to the US awful, but it gives us an opportunity to visit Rio which I've wanted to do for a while. Excellent return flights on United from Rio->Houston->Phoenix.
  11. Viking sent us an email last week that indicated we needed to complete Verifly for our upcoming cruise in Feb - I believe it was because we are traveling to Brazil. It was a pain but about all I did was upload pictures of our Covid cards, including the last booster.
  12. Pretty strict. In Miami on 12/22 cruise boarding did not start until after 2pm. Everyone just waited in the terminal in numbered areas. Boarding started with groups 1-6 (suites) and then continued.
  13. We also ordered Mojitos without any additional charges. I did have a Brandy Alexander one night and the charge was only $6.
  14. We are headed to the Amazon on Viking Sky next month. Got an email from Viking today indicating that they wanted us to use the Verifly app. I re-installed it as I do remember using it for the Viking Iceland cruise in 2021 and uploaded our covid docs. We had to show them in Iceland when checking in. If we need to have them 'verified' when we get to the ship - I'll definitely question why we bothered with Verifly.
  15. I could not agree more! We are onboard in 3 days for the Onward Holiday Cruise. It's been a while since we've been on Azamara - really looking forward to being onboard.
  16. We had 2 excursions on our December Holiday Cruise discounted - canceled and rebooked saving about $50 in SBC. Several others on the trip were discounted but nothing we were interested in. No discounts on any excursion for the May 14 Med Islands Cruise.
  17. This is our first time on PG - just wondering if they leave any type of tote bag in the staterooms? We've gotten them on every other cruise we've done. If so, then I won't need to pack one.
  18. We did this trip in 2017. It was OUTSTANDING. We also had an overnight in Luxor and Azamara put us at the Royal Sonesta. The hotel also catered the Nile lunch cruise in feluccas which is probably what you will be on. There was always plenty of bottled water on every tour bus - it was never an issue. If Azamara is organizing the tour - you will not have any issues with the food at any venue, including fruit or salad. On the same trip we went to Petra and lunch was included. It was also a buffet at a high-end hotel. You shouldn't worry!
  19. It would be! However, I haven't seen anything on the PG website that says testing has been discontinued. Hopefully PG will follow their parent company and post an update. But right now, PG still says we need a negative test. We have a group of 14 on the Oct 19 cruise - we are all hoping this will change.
  20. That would be SO fantastic if they removed the requirement for PG! We are on the Oct 19 cruise (along with Retired2016Cruiser) and I have also been researching how to get a test before we get on the plane at SFO. It doesn't make sense to fly if we can't get on the ship.
  21. Yes, but there are not any of the Onward's Owner's Suite...I've already looked. Might just have to wait till we are on the Onward in December.
  22. I've been looking for some pictures as well but have not been able to find any.
  23. Yes. I actually started the Roll Call.
