  1. When we there last, had to take cruise shuttle to terminal building. Was in a commercial port. Still the same?
  2. There are times I have not been happy with location and I asked nicely prior to sitting down if I could have a different table. Usually have been accommodated. Sometimes I have had a short wait but that was my option.
  3. We were on the Odyssey in May to Greek islands. Was very surprised how many children and babies were onboard.
  4. I had that same issue. The fix was creating an account first. Accepted all info there. Then I was able to reserve.
  5. We are staying In Southampton 2 nights precruise. Overnight flight so won’t be worth much the first day. Will be mid afternoon by the time we arrive. Second day considering train to Bath for the day. Seems like many sites are walking distance in city center once off the train. Any reason not to do Bath? Other cities more interesting via train from Southampton? Did London post cruise a few years ago. Want to see other parts of England.
  6. We did a cruise tour from the ship to Kinsale. Enjoyed it
  7. When we get the premium drink package, the World Class Bar is a must. Bartenders are great.
  8. Sent in for cruise in February 2023 and one in 2024. Got e-mail from Celebrity today and was applied. Only took a few days from submission.
  9. Did this from Rome Hilton Airport on their Wi-Fi. Had to add my husband to my account as he forgot his phone at home. Brought 3 tests for two of us. Worked perfectly as original poster. I signed on. Did my test. When complete started the next person on my account. Was very apprehensive but all worked out and we flew out the next day. Showed results on phone to agent at check in. At least now there are no requirements to fly back to US but will use these tests to board in December..
  10. Fiona, Our D-I-L will be in Lisbon for a few days. Staying at 4 Seasons for a conference. Any advice for touring nearby for her. Email me gfk214atgmaildotcom. Thanks Gail
  11. I had a cruise rejected as the original booking date was prior to date required by the Shareholder Services. Was booked early 2019 even tho I was not sailing until 2022 due to COVID lift and shifts. Received for all other made after the required date.
  12. Showing sold out as not open for booking. Happened to me as I was seeking rooms too far in advance.
  13. The aft balconies are not all the same size on S class Same size cabin but verandas are not uniform. Had one wide one and then on next cruise on same ship a few months later, had smaller balcony.
  14. We used emed that we had taken with us from US , to travel on Lufthansa from FCO-FRA-DTW last week. Showed results on phone at checkin in FCO.
  15. I had to cancel a cruise 6 days prior to sailing in March, 2020 due to a health reason that could not be resolved. When I called to cancel I was offered the option to reschedule 2 months later as I did not have insurance through Celebrity . Insurance was through credit card. As I knew this would not work as issue (now resolved) would not be resolved in that time frame, I could not accept. Little did we all know that our sailing on March, 2,2020 was one of the last complete cruises to sail prior to shutdown. Cruise ended on March 13, 2020. If you have to cancel at short notice, ask if they do not offer.
  16. I used my email address for my DH and added him as another person or however they phrased. He had left his phone at home and would not have been able to retrieve results so this worked fine.
  17. For inconclusive results, we’re there no lines on tester? Not even Control line? What deemed it inconclusive? Just did these and tested negative but curious what deems it inconclusive. Thanks
  18. Did our first emed tests last week from hotel lobby in Italy - in the company ic many other testers. Proctor was very clear with instructions. “ Hold up to rear camera “ etc for the scans. Do need to be sure your device won’t time out from no movement while doing test.
  19. Fiona, Been reading the review. So nice meeting you and our dinners together. Overall I liked the cruise and ports but not so much the ship. Food in Windjammer was abysmal to me. Dining room and specialty restaurants were good. I would recommend that passengers avoid cabin 9632. Huge veranda but due to angled veranda facing front, created a wind tunnel effect on sea days. Almost no sun due to overhangs, I believe. Avoid these rooms on any floor if you like to spend time on veranda as we do. We tested negative at the Hilton Airport Hotel. Those 15 minutes each waiting were nerve racking to me! Then took train into Rome for a few hours! Flew home on the 17th with no issues Regards, Gail and Bob
