I was booked with a travel agent because my personal cruise consultant never answered my emailed questions. Several weeks later she saw the emails and booked the same cruise in the mirror cabin to what I had with my TA without ever asking if I wanted to book. I got reminders from HAL to pay for my reservation. So I know for certain HAL does have two identical reservations in the system…..because of lack of quality of their PCC. She was a great advertisement for booking with a travel agent.

You can get from an independent source but pre existing condition waiver usually requires buying within the first 14 to 21 days after initial deposit

On the cruise the following week I had been a 2 pm and hit the email changing it to 11 am

Oh my. I’m in that cabin on a sister ship.

I emailed the address listed and got the not applicable line

Is there a place on HAL ships where running is permitted aside from a dreadmill?

I was sent a 2 pm boarding time as a Neptune booking. That seems very late to me.

Why would they sell a $50 drink card and a $50 non alcohol card? Fifty dollars is $50.

My TA was quite curt that I was not getting it applied to existing reservations. I’d read here others were having success. did you book directly with HAL?

I filled mine out online this time and submitted it.

I messaged the TA who said I wasn’t qualified for the offer and I could email HAL and AARP and plead my case of why I should get an exception but I’d get a form letter of why I didn’t qualify and I could email a supervisor and complain but I wasn’t getting a credit🥴

The TA showed where $50 was applied but they go on to say I am not qualified for the AARP one since it was already booked and the mysterious $50 in account was not the AARP one. But same as everyone here it appeared after verification and then it disappeared.

But only $50 was actually awarded to me when it should have been $100

I did. My cruise was worth $100. So I wondered if this had been something new

A $50 available credit did show in my account after verification which I assumed to be the AARP. Yet today it has disappeared. Anyone else?

I have the available credit in account but my very Quick travel agent said only new bookings; couldn’t be applied

I was there mid June a few years ago and needed my down jacket outside, as well as the blankets they have on the deck, to sit on our balcony. the only place that was truly warm was Fairbanks.

Coming over the main bed seems like a poor design decision. The one time we needed one, the sofa flipped down for a single and the upper flipped above it so it was like a set of bunk beds.

This is so odd. There is no microwave in the room. Are you eating it cold on a balcony? you could make a Charcutetie tray yourself from the lido. If you’re in a Neptune they will bring you appetizers. I’m feeling like I’m on a Disney World board where someone asks about bringing a Crock Pot to cook during the day.

I’ve always been in a Neptune suite and I’ve never gotten a card holder. I have not sailed since Covid.

my boarding pass says 2:00 pm embarkation. I guess that’s an assigned time and not actually when boarding begins. Sounds like I’ll be out of luck on lunch unless the Neptune concierge can get something for us or we show up earlier to board (can we do that?!)
