Sorry about the wrong word. "Provided" should be proctored.
-
I looked at a map and it looks like that was the one. DH did not care for his meal. My salad and pasta were ok. I worked in a fabulous Italian restaurant in the Portland area that was so yummy and authentic. We only had Italian wines and made our pasta and risotto from scratch. We thought it was expensive for what we received, but London IS expensive. It was very crowded which speaks for itself. Our table was basically next to the "pantry" area where the servers dealt with dirty plates and bus tubs, AND the new plates to be served. That was freaky.

Onboard covid testing day before flight back to US from Vancouver...

Okie Dokie..... This information may help someone else and work well for them. We live in Washington State and I shared this helpful hint for others and obviously not you. -
Onboard covid testing day before flight back to US from Vancouver...

The SECRET is to take the Princess transfer to Seatac, and fly home from there! No testing required! This is a MAJOR flaw in Biden's declaration and policy. -
It MUST be proctored. We used a BinaxNow (antigen)at our London hotel with our cell phone and their wifi.

We were in L103 on the Regal. You can use the balcony anytime but must keep the curtains closed at night so light does not interfere with the Bridge. The balcony is HUGE, but you can not see out when seated, due to the metal railing.
-
You can also do a provided at home test 3 days ahead. We did one at our hotel in our cell phone.

Do all the MDRs on Discovery Princess serve the same food in evening?
nini replied to dchan865's topic in Princess Cruises
They do on the Emerald - we are on her right now. -
We tested at our hotel on our cell phone, using the BinaxNow. Is there anyway you test 2-3 days before boarding?
-
We were in Lido 103. The cabin was great. The balcony is HUGE!!! You will NOT be able to see anything when sitting down on the balcony... No way! You will need to stand up to see out. This is the downside to these cabins. You will also be required to keep the drapes closed all night due to lighting affecting the Bridge. However, you can still use the balcony.

We tried the Chef's Gordon Ramsay's hamburger place which was quite expensive, but the service was good and the meat was high quality. We also tried an Italian place across the street but it was also expensive for what we received.

I will use our example. We received the J&J in March 2021. It is "One and Done". This was more than 270 before our cruise of May 9th, so we had to get a booster, which we did- about two weeks before boarding. since we were now fully vaccinated according to their chart, we could test anytime from 3 days ahead of boarding.

Need a source for proctored covid tests in the USA ... who you using?
nini replied to BuckeyeMark's topic in Princess Cruises
I called our Medicare Advantage Plan and they said since Medicare does not reimburse, it will not be reimbursed. Our current "leader" instructed Medicare to not reimburse, unless it was strictly for medical reasons. Gee, thanks. However, it is worth a try, right? -
We recently stayed at The Rookery, pre-cruise, in London for 3 nights. The hotel is lovely, the staff is fabulous and so helpful! It is located away from the "fray" and super easy walking distance to Farringdon Station. This was an excellent choice for us.

FYI- on the Emerald, the person who coordinates the M&G is Song. She is a delight to work with.

Using on board credits on Princess before the cruise

We called Princess and were able to book their shore excursions using OBC. But you can not book for the special dining room like the Crown Grill until you are onboard. -

We purchased the BinaxNow and used it at our hotel in London via the hotel's Wi-Fi and our IPhone. The only tests available when we ordered was a 6 pack which cost about $190.00 with tax and shipping- $150.00 for the 6 pack, about $13.00 in tax and about $28.00 for shipping. -
Anyone Enjoy a Wine Maker's Dinner Post Covid ?
nini replied to richstowe's topic in Princess Cruises
NOPE, NOPE... We are on the Emerald and there will be no Chef's Table or Winemaker's Dinner. This is a 12 night cruise. -
Thank you so much Patrick! Your statement will be used as "evidence" that a Princess ship actually can have its act together and do right by its paying customers. We really appreciate you posting this!

What medicine?

Also, we have eaten in the dining one time out of 6 nights. It was crowded, loud, with other people right next to you as a table of two. We now just find a table in the buffet area which is far away from others. The Crown Grill is also a nice choice. I enjoyed my lobster tail there.

We are on the Emerald now. Before boarding on Monday, we were told to mask up. The majority are wearing masks. However, no masks when eating or drinking. All staff is masked up. AND..... Wait for it..... you MUST sit down somewhere to order anything from a bar... The bad part is there are no menus on the tables and you need to flag someone down. You may NOT stand at the bar, Coffee Bar, or Vines to order... Oh, Vines is closed...So is Sabatinis.

Please understand that even the entire itinerary could change while even on the snip. We are on the Emerald, British Isles cruise and one port was changed just two weeks before sailing. Glasgow (a big deal to me) was removed and replaced with the Orkney Islands- which had been on the ORIGINAl itinerary and replaced with Liverpool. Regardless, have a great time!

I really do not understand your question. The second sentence is very long and. confusing.
