    Penthouse suites are in line with everyone else so just luck of the line when you arrive…unless you have many many many nights on Regent. Good time to meet people in line. We have never minded except in Southampton this summer when it was very hot and muggy in the terminal and the port personnel were SLOW.

    I really wouldn’t worry about when your suite will be ready. Have a nice lunch, a drink or 2, relax… 2 or 2:30 comes quickly.

    My husband and I are on this cruise. Reading through the excursions I’m finding many are too long for my liking. Not sure what we will book.

    That’s what happens with free wifi. If we FaceTime on ship…we find an area where we are alone.

    We stopped there 11/2014 on Regent. After seeing the melting pots and climbing to the roof of an old white church..we had great COLD Nicaraguan beer at a place on the square across from church.

    I have for years used a paper towel or tissue to flush toilet, open stall door, open door to exit restroom….I do enjoy buffets and haven’t followed through with using a tissue or whatever for utensils at buffet…I’ll have to consider this. It would protect me from others and others from me. Two way street.

    On the cruise they ran out of Diet Coke they still had Diet Pepsi. I personally cannot drink Diet Pepsi. The cruise had more sea days than expected due to very foggy conditions so that may have contributed.

    They really deserved it too! We had additional sea fog days around Greenland which meant no break for them. It was a great crew.

    On our last cruise in July 2022, the crew fund sponsored a crew excursion to the Blue Lagoon in Iceland. They were all very excited. So, it does do more than parties.

    We always go to pool deck with our carry on. We sit around pool grill, have a drink, eat some food…start our vacation. When they announce suites ready we just sit and let others go ahead.

    My husband and I really don’t dance but the Beatles party always gets us out there…along with some wine at dinner for nerve.

    I’m confused about the painters tape on the outlet….so covering the outlet the air is coming out or on the control?

    I’m glad to hear the wings had some zing. I love cruising on Regent but I tire of the food because I’m constantly asking for more garlic, more spice, etc. I bring my own tiny tobasco bottles onboard. I must be in the minority though.

    I go by middle name…have since birth….but it never fails I get called by my first name. It is frustrating. I had an RA Dr that called me by first name for 14 years although I would correct him and the nurse would call me by correct name.

    I hate going to ports on Sundays. Almost not worth the stop.

    I much prefer trivia at 5. We would get a pre dinner drink, learn how much we didn’t know, go change at 6…😀

    In July they were everywhere…sea of luggage…I’m sure better now. I hope!

    Wow..I’ve never heard that. That is disturbing.

    I remember reading on here about a long time Regent cruiser using it when she broke her hip outside of usa. Medjet transferred her home to have surgery at home. We always have it.
