We went in March and bought a couples pass for $219 online. When we got aboard it was $299 This is the opposite of the way it used to be, but the ship wants your money up front these days

People spending 6 hours on hold to remove a $5 mini bar charge,now spending another 6 hrs to get a dinner or free internet because the lousiest cabins left on the ship have dropped in price.

I was watching Mighty Cruise ships and the narrator said they were loading on 14,000 bottles of water for a trip. No worries they’ll have water for all on the ship P.S. not sure if it was water from a stream in the Himalayan mountains . . I will get back to you

Remember when people used to take numerous suitcases on planes for free. Then the airlines started to charge for baggage. Where are we now with this plan?

Micro managing, bean counters whatever you call them . They collect Data all day, how many people are eating in the dining room, how many bought liquor, how many gambled, how many bought excursions, how many went to Tamarind, Canaletto, and Pinnacle. Somewhere in there was probably how many appetizers were ordered at Pinnacle. It perhaps was excessive they were losing money, so now there’s an upcharge. This just eating appetizers is odd. Do people go to Ruth Chris at home and just order potatoes au gratin and creamed spinach for dinner?

There’s also a disadvantage to eating in the dining room. if you head to the buffet you can people watch and see who you want to avoid on the upcoming cruise

Once upon a time people enjoyed eating a 3hr meal, dressing up and sitting at a big table with family or friends. Reading a book on a deck chair was heaven. This was way back when, when they used to call it “Cruising”
