    I get the same amusement when getting off the ship in Fort Lauderdale. At the customs table sits 47 apples and 19 oranges. This is after the Captain has made 37 announcements telling people to not bring fruit off the ship. They Walk Among Us

    Just my opinion. You’re on vacation, have your chair pulled out water poured etc. The Lido is a cafeteria is a cafeteria is a cafeteria. Best use of the Lido is on embarkation day, you can people watch and scout out those you want to avoid on the cruise.

    I couldn’t agree with you more. We started the same time sailing HAL as you did. I too thought I was on a floating Ritz Carlton. A few years back I was sitting by the pool and the woman next to me pulled out a 2 liter bottle of DR. Thunder from Walmart, then I I knew I wasn’t.

    Get off ship just walk around the dock, don’t venture outside the port gates look at a few souvenirs go back to ship and say “That Port Sucked There Was Nothing To Do There”
