On Symphony this week. Today they closed Deck 17 do to severe wind. We are at Sea going to Caribbean. People lost hats.

MDR changes? 1 menu during 7 day cruise? We are on Symphony this week. New menus, but NOT the same menu every night as NCL PRIMA. Only 1 lobster tail, you pay for more. Some lines don't offer lobster at all. Check out other lines, they are really cutting back, too.

Remember when the cruse lines wanted us to go to MTD and many people didn't want to go? Now, since people want to go, they are hosing us around. LOL Most elderly people want early dining. European people normally eat late. The rest of us, who ever we are, wanted MTD. Can't RCI make up their mind? SMH

When did RCI change MTD to 630pm? We have always used MTD at 530pm. How can they call it MTD if they open at 530 but MTD doesn't start until 630pm? TIA

All Cruise lines are understaffed! We were on NCL 4X last year, Breakaway and Prima. NCL has cut back on staff. Cabin personnel will take care of 24 cabins instead of 16. I'm not defending MSC, just letting you and others know. The biggest thing is how passengers treat staff. Never Pease or Thank you.

On Symphony OTS they will show it in Playmakers and provide food. Only $50/person! SMH

This is not to flame you, but to answer your 'concept called sample size.' You have been cruising since: '1986, with 6 cruises on NCL and 2 currently booked and 7 cruises on Celebrity with 2 currently booked. 49 cruises in total.' We have been cruising since 1986. We cruised last year 2022 on RCI 2x, MSC 2x, NCL Breakaway 2x, Prima 12 and 7 day cruises, and Celebrity 1x. So, that makes 9 cruises in 2022. This year we are cruising RCI 2x, MSC 2x, Celebrity 2x and NCL Joy and Bliss 1x each for 8 times in 2023. We have also cruised Princess and many times in top 3 cruisers and HAL as Copper. We have a total of 135 cruises not counting this year. Do we qualify as a 'concept called sample size?' Yes, we do. So, here is our own opinion and it is our opinion. Wrote a long review and send it to the Prima General Manager whom we personally know and the new Prima General Manager. Send it to the NCL Entertainment Manager at NCL Main Office. Posted it on CC, too. Prima 12 day NY to TX. Two MDRs w/fixed menu same menu every night. OK, nothing outstanding. Celebrity Apex 7 day 4 MDRs with different menu every night and special selection option in each MDR. Much better food, presentation and quality. Entertainment on Prima 7 day cruise. Nose Boys, Price is Right, Donna Summers required reservations very laborious to obtain as Touch Screens on ship not working properly. Had to go to Show Room and line up to get, could not do on-line. Yes, we were first on ship as we were on Prima 3 weeks prior so knew where to go and what to do. Only 3 shows and then comedian acts during the 7 nights. On the 12 night sailing they had the 3 shows and guest singers and comedians. If you wanted to attend Syds, you had to wait in line over an hour, no reservations. Only would accommodate about 50 people. Atrium Bar and show area was too small and crowded. Even the NCL Entertainment Manager from NCL Main Office onboard and made the same comment. Not a place to watch entertainment nightly even when they had 4 different shows with couples, single guitar player, and a great black group. Celebrity Apex had shows every night and no reservations. No standing in line, etc. Big variety of entertainment. I could add much more, however, that is my opinion and I know others will disagree. Would I waste my time going on the Prima class again? NO. Your comments invited.

FYI - Have you seen or read the articles about NCL and their cutback in entertainment? Big time cuts of shows, staff and charging more for cabin cleaning and only making up cabins once a day? I am not against NCL as I cruise them each year. Just letting you know things are changing and not for the best. I cruise many lines and read many CC forums. I can provide the article about NCL if interested. Came out in the news this week.

I'm glad you had a great cruise on the Joy. We did, too in 2021. Went on the Breakaway B2B and the Prima a 12 and 7 day cruise in 2022. We are Sapphire on NCL and Diamond on MSC. However, each cruise can and may provide different experiences. Examples: On the Prima they had 2 shows, Noise Boys and Donna Summer. You had to make reservations for each show. The first day on the ship, reservations were booked solid. You could go to Syds if you waited in line for more than an hour each time they had a show there. No reservations. So, it is not just go in and no lines. Never say this cruise line is bad and the other is not. There are always conditions that create a problem /concern. To further solidify my experiences:" we cruised RCI 2x, MSC 2x, NCL 4x and Celebrity 1x in 2022. We are doing RCI 2x, MSC 2x, NCL 2x and Celebrity 2x this year. I could add specific issues/opinions on each one of these cruise lines both positive and negative. We have seen excellent shows on all cruise lines. Food both good and bad on all cruise lines, too. Opinions are like what we sit on, everyone has one. LOL Just enjoy cruising!!!!

You must be a comedian on MSC? You are funny?? 'Write a strong letter to MSC.' What I find odd is those that don't drink, so why have free drinks? Or those that are in your condition, why have a ship instead of a bar? Enjoyed my 2 cents. LOL
