    Sorry to hear that the pizza was mediocre. I remember Princess pizza as being among the (few) highlights when I sailed several years ago.

    I would pay up to $300 for two on a seven-day cruise to upgrade to Blu. No more. On an excursion heavy cruise, Persian Garden is not worth much unless you like to go during the evenings. Blu is nice but not as good as the specialty restaurants.

    My points showed up in my account today--along with my three go green points. However, and this is important for all solos, they only gave me thirty points instead of the sixty I was entitled to as a solo paying for a regular veranda. Call Captains Club and they should be able to fix it.

    It might have the ice cream with a different name? Maybe called Scoops? Or maybe that was on Allure? I do remember getting very good pay hard serve ice cream last year in an ice cream parlor on the Boardwalk directly across from Johnny Rockets. But I am not positive on the ship or the name.

    I seen to recall that the only non soft serve ice cream on Harmony was the pay ice cream place on the boardwalk?

    I found it very unusual that the bags were not sorted into luggage tag numbers and there was no one to check passports

    Smallest lobster tail I have ever had. Go to Herculaneum rather than Pompeii. Very good ship excursion with live guide. Herculaneum is smaller than Pompeii but better preserved.

    For the first time, I noticed that they had off menu specials in the MDR. Extra appetizer and entree.

    Well put. I bring my phone and text/email to people at home. On my current cruise, Celebrity had a hosted solo event on the first night. I met several other solos and we met for dinner. The Celebrity app has a chat feature that you can use to keep in touch with other guests.

    I have been cruising several times a year for twelve years in regular verandas and have made it to 689 points. The odds of my making it to 3000 points (Zenith) before dying are between slim and none.
