I am old enough to remember when they told us that the vaccines were 95 percent effective in preventing us from getting Covid.

" I've had three doses and still got Covid. I expect that I will get it again. If I was very fearful of getting it again, I would cancel all future cruises and stay home. You can't rely on either your own vaccination, the vaccination of others or even natural immunity to prevent you from getting Covid.

How were the cookies?

As someone who doesn't drink alcohol, cookies and ice cream are important to me. I may have to upgrade to Seabourne or Silversea to get better cookies.

I predict at least ten replies that Oceania's cookies are the best tasting at sea. LOL. I am often disappointed by the cookies on cruise ships. Although the mud slide cookies on Royal are pretty good. I will have to sample the O cookies the next time I cruise. I can only assume that they cut back on the butter and sugar.

Try other lines. Loyalty is overrated. I sail on Celebrity, Royal, Oceania and Viking Ocean. Have a cruise booked on Virgin over Christmas. Have tried Princess but found the food to be mediocre (except for the outstanding pizza)

Try Oceania. It’s my favorite. And I have sailed Viking several times.
