  1. For group rates the balcony discounts always apply. For regular posted rates it depends on whether the secondary promo (instant savings or OBC) is more or less than the balcony discount as the two are not combinable.
  2. Christmas sailings typically have dining options released late. Ours lately have been within 6 months of sailing or less.
  3. On at least my last 4 cruises there has already been a plastic card in the slot.
  4. Should be $300 but may depend on who the rep is. Best bet. Chznge to solo and then a few days later change the ship
  5. C&A simply screwed up. Status is not transferred from grandparent to child regardless of who pays orvwhether they live at the same address. It is only transfered between significant others and parent to child under 18.
  6. That would entirely depend on how many people you are booking it for. The spacious interior will be much better suited if you are boong for 4 or more people while with 3 or less I'd go with the Boardwalk.
  7. The only place it would show is on the guest copy of Royals invoice. This can take 4-6 weeks for Royal to add it to the booking which is completely normal. As others have mentioned, the voucher (not really needed) will be with your cruise docs that get issued at 45 days to sailing and it will be on the page before your luggage tags. It will not show anywhere in the cruise planner or app.
  8. Our last cabin steward had 26 staterooms. Dont forget, they get a fraction of the $18. Moat goes to dining and "other" Thanks. Escaped the outlet mall on the way for under $200. My daughter spent the most and she's not even with us....Vikki FaceTime her from the stores. I made out okay. Thr Sperry store was closing and all shoes were $29.
  9. No, at least I have never had any booking repriced to the current rates when I have made changes for clients. It has always been just the taxes are dropped.
  10. This happens when they simply remove the change fee. It works temporarily but whenever you make a change to the booking it gets added back. The way to correctly fix it is to leave the change fee on there and apply a waiver for the same amount. The you see the $100 charge and then the corresponding -$100 waiver. That way the system will not reapply the fee.
  11. I know there is a door from the aft hallway on deck 7 to the balcony by the rockwall, I just can't remember if the same thing exists on deck 6
  12. Or a straight run without stairs to the Schoonerbar.😁
  13. Every cabin on Oasis has a small cooler. Only a few of the Vision class ships in Insides and possibly OV do not have the coolers
  14. You said earlier that you dawcthe charge on the credit card. It's paid.
  15. Not sure why she can't just send you the guest copy of Royals invoice. It literally takes less time than doing a screenshot.
  16. In that case, I would also cut her some slack.
  17. no reason a TA should take a couple of days to send the invoices, it's all instantaneous.
  18. I won't disagree that there are agents that definitely need a bit more training. I run into that and I get agents that have a lot more experience than the general call center. You can definitely fight city hall, it's just how much time and effort you have to put in to win the fight.
  19. Hopefully the new system where everything is fully integrated will solve more issues that it creates. The problem now is they are running multiple old legacy systems that were never designed to work together and it creates lots of issues. Some still aren't live and rely upon nightly updates to sync different systems.
  20. Don't read too much into it and come up with conspiracy theories. As stated before it is simply a matter of a very outdated IT system that was never designed to handle some of the things they are now doing. Unfortunately it will not be until 2028 when the new system launches.
  21. At the end of the day it depends on the agent you get. I had one yesterday who tried to tell me that November and early December sailings did not qualify. Read her the line from the C&A benefits page and asked her to contact another resolutions specialist who knew what they were doing. The first one was simply going by the coding (or lack thereof) in the system not knowing that it just had not been loaded. Although every group rate has to be manually applied it is in a way easier than dealing with agents to get it applied to non group bookings.
  22. If you modify the booking to one person to get the double points Royal will not provide you the letter for the insurance company. You need to decide whether the double points are worth not filing the claim.
