How would they know that without looking at my card? I have always been asked for my card in the MDR and Blu……Luminae is the only place I haven’t been asked…..nobody around us was asked either

While we did have the drink package, we were never asked for our card in Luminae. I figured it’s because since the suites come with drinks included, the servers likely “assume” that everyone has the drink package.

When we did that excursion the tender took us to Oia and we were bussed up to the top. We had free time to look around, shop, etc. After that we were bussed to Fira where the guide left us and we were on our own. Ours did come with a tram ticket so not sure why yours doesn’t. We had no wait at all for the tram down. The guide didn’t do a whole lot of talking. She was mostly there to get us on the bus and up to Oia and then to Fira. We would definitely do it again.

Yes. You will go directly to your cabin to drop off carry ons and get your sea pass cards. I wouldn’t see any problem making your appointment on time. Enjoy!

Not sure. The last time I saw aluminum cans was on the Reflection in May 2022. Since then it has plastic. Evian isn’t in plastic anymore either, only glass

I haven’t seen aluminum in quite awhile. On our last few cruises it was plastic for the classic package and glass (Evian and Aqua Panna) for premium

Are all of your cabins linked together? You should do that first. Not sure if anything would change. Speak to them once on board. They might be able to accommodate you. Not guaranteed though. We tried it once and it was only the two of us and we were unsuccessful. Good luck!…….btw, it’s not an E class ship is it?

To be honest, we originally only went to Alaska because it was our son’s choice (college graduation cruise). My husband and I both said it would be a one and done. Despite getting Covid on the ship and not knowing that I had it and having an accident which sent me to the emergency room with a broken wrist, we had an amazing time! We can’t wait to go back and are booked for next June! You were going to love it!

We booked a SV in March 2023 for a sailing in October 2024. We got the last cabin.

The casino opens anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour after leaving port. We were in the casino every night on our southbound cruise.

I would never pay in full unless final payment was due. We do use a TA, but I always put the final payment date on the calendar in my phone and am usually ready to pay it before my TA even says anything. Also, I often go into my account on the website to check prices, sales, shore excursions, etc, and it states on the account when the due date is.

We were on a Caribbean cruise in December and it was cold one evening. Everyone was wrapped in blankets in Lawn Club Grill. I was so cold that it wasn’t even enjoyable. Going to Iceland /Ireland in a couple of weeks and we won’t even consider LCG

Oceanview cafe is the buffet. They also have the mast grill. The MDR is open on sea days. For a charge there is The Porch and Sushi on 5 open.

What makes you think he said that? I don’t believe it for a minute. We have had the pleasure of sailing with Captain Matt a couple of times and have gotten to know him. He would NEVER do something reckless and act as if he could do what he wants. He wouldn't take the chance of losing his job. He is an EXCELLENT captain!

Really hard to say. The earliest you will be able to walk off is about 7:00 am. The traffic isn’t the best getting to the airport either. When we disembarked in Barcelona our flight was around 11:30, but we didn’t think we would make it, so we stayed there for a day. You might make it, but it could be stressful. If you don’t care then go for it. Have a great cruise!

We always make a reservation because we like to eat at 7:00 and that’s a popular time. We have never had to wait for a table with a reservation

Our flight is at 11 from Amsterdam. We didn’t think we would make it having to get there from Rotterdam and the mess at the Amsterdam airport and having to be there 3 hours ahead of time. so we are leaving the next morning. Good luck to you.
