  1. Have It All - HAL's version of 'all included'.
  2. When you arrive in Vancouver (Day 4) the ship will be cleared by CBSA, the gangway will be opened for you to go ashore you're free to do whatever you want.... Welcome to Canada! Why you couldn't walk off the ship at 0500 with your bag on Day 5 and make your way to the airport is beyond me; you're not a captive. However, you probably should check with NCL Customer Care beforehand just in case there is some bizarre reason you can't (good luck with that phone call). After all, you could walk off the ship with your luggage at noon on day 4 and never come back.... they can't stop you.
  3. If you're planning on staying in the city.... don't even contemplate renting a car. Walking is best to see the sights, you can take the funicular if it's too tough to go between upper and lower town and there are HoHo tours available if that's the sort of thing you like.
  4. If I recall, you might see them available beginning 0600 Pacific time.
  5. Viking insists you arrive at the airport pickup location immediately following a flight? Sort of bizarre that they 'force' you to go through the charade of establishing a flight in. What do think would have happened if the Miami flight had been cancelled?
  6. Seems as though the odor issue (if there ever was one) no longer exists. Time for me to book CB again!
  7. Starboard side forward by the door to promenade.
  8. I pretty much agree with you. When I'm in QC, I prefer to stay in one of the smaller hotels in the lower town.... https://www.hotellepriori.com/en/
  9. Sounds like a bit of a juggling act for one person, but you can do it.
  10. There are many good choices. I suggest you look at the downtown Marriott and judge for yourself whether that's a good location for the things you'd like to see. https://www.marriott.com/en-us/hotels/yqbmc-quebec-city-marriott-downtown/overview/
  11. No doubt. Nowadays, in the air travel universe, I'd say flight changes (EZAir) are on par with the inevitability of death and taxes
  12. I suspect there is an element of preserving band width for other wifi users who have paid for at least some service.
  13. I don't think he was being sarcistic, just imaginative for the sake of thread discussion.
  14. Not only those things, there is the assumption that every Princess cruise is only one week in duration.
  15. Well, if you believe any of the story then of course he was irresponsible and a leading contributor to any norovirus issues onboard. Gee...
  16. The problem wasn't him... it was Princess Cay if I understand things correctly.
  17. With the return of Zellers, you ought to be able to book flights there. Our American friends are unlikely to get this one.
  18. None of this would be a problem if you chose to cruise on an upscale, luxury cruise line. Oh... maybe I have crossed threads!
  19. Apparently, unexpected changes to Princess bookings and EZAir fit this bill too.
  20. That sounds more like harassment to me rather than surveying customer satisfaction. Did you write a strongly worded letter to Princess Senior Management to complain about this?
  21. Only the food/items that make us feel bad while cruising or are we allowed to include those we eat at home that make us sick too?
  22. If that's what you're thinking of doing, take the train from Quebec to Dorval, Via Rail shuttle to YUL and stay at the in-terminal Marriott. You'll be right beside the US departures area for a quick and easy getaway in the morning.
