  1. Ship? Itinerary? Sea days or port days?
  2. If you are referring to the two bottles of wine you are each allowed to bring on board, Do not expect them to let you bring N/A beer instead.
  3. Alcohol free wine was also not included in the nonalcohol packages and I expect that the same is true now
  4. In the past, they have not been covered in the nonalcoholic packages. You had to have an alcohol package to be able to get them. Perhaps because there was some residual alcohol in them, I’m not sure. I do know that children could not order them.
  5. Interesting. How were they packaged. Were they in some sort of set that could have been put on as checked luggage or were they individual? The cases we have checked were boxed and plastic wrapped. Were you able to get them on board?
  6. What do you mean by Captains Club website? As far as I know, Captains Club doesn’t have its own website.
  7. Interesting story but to reiterate, there will not be a Japan to Vancouver transpacific in 2024
  8. If you hear back from her, be sure to buy a lottery ticket that day…..
  9. If you need to do it on the ship, then you need to do with Wi-Fi. Otherwise wait until the ship lands next day and use your phones if you have service or wait until you are at the airport
  10. Hawaii is in the tropics and since you live in Vancouver you know what the weather is like there in May. You’ll be going from tropical to spring in Vancouver. Period
  11. Hmmm….go back to Royal if you think they treat you better?….
  12. Have you tried to do a mock booking to see how many rooms are available? That’s a good place to start
  13. Ha, yes, Voice recognition has trouble with my accent sometimes!
  14. I remember that on mini itineraries it was hard to get a seat in the sky lounge. We are enjoying having our happy hour drinks at the sunset bar most nights. Or sometimes in ensemble when there are musicians playing that we enjoy. Very happy to be able to use the benefit at bars of our choice
  15. AFAIK None of my drinks have been watered down at the happy hour. I usually order wine, but sometimes a side car or a martini and I’ve watched the barstaff prepare them so I think I would know if they had watered anything down
  16. I have had it happen in Belize. The captain chose not to change the ship time to local time. So it does occasionally happen, and you won’t know ahead of time so watch the daily program. On embarkation day there should be a summary of the entire cruise and it will tell you if they plan to shift clocks forward or back. That doesn’t necessarily tell you if they will be matching local time or not, but they definitely will explain it in the daily
  17. You don’t receive vouchers. You are allowed to order unlimited drinks from the elite menu between the hours of 5 and 7 PM at most bars. Not the dining room, and not room service. The details will be given to you when you board so look for a sheet of instructions in your stateroom.
  18. Is the Seattle-Seattle portion on the same ship? If so, it doesm’t solve the problem.
  19. The thing is, they can’t predict the weather. And sometimes they have maintenance to do one side or the other. So while it’s nearly always Portside that’s not 100%. It’s been that way for at least 10 years, perhaps longer.
