Volendam will be at the AS dock from 1300-2200.

No big surprise that rain is in the forecast for Friday. There is a 70% chance of rain which is supposed to be steady in the morning with showers in the afternoon. High will be 64F/18C and the low of 51F/10C. Sunrise is at 5:09 am and sunset at 8:56 pm.

Also in port are Disney Wonder at the AJ dock from 0600-1700 and Star Legend will be tendering from 0700-1900.

I think someone said that because she is so small that lining up with the dock properly does not work.

I thought the floating docks of AS and CT were supposed to eliminate that problem bit I guess there are always exceptions in any upgrade/reno.

While I'm thinking of it - just a heads-up for Aug 31. Maasdam in FLL - Heading for drydock. On Sept 10 - leaving FLL for first 'Explorer Cruise'.. I thought you might like to check/coordinate with Boytjie/Peter - if possible - about this out of season FLL sailaway(s).

ETA: Looks like the next FLL after Maasdam are Veendam on Oct 17th, Volendam on Oct 19th, and Zuiderdam on Oct 24th

I see the Volendam is approaching.

Don't know how long I can stay -- lightning all around and winds are high.

Did you hear on the radio - telling Volendam to slow down? That's a first for me.

I included that early FLL info, because I noticed it this morning and with Maasdam arriving so early in the season, I didn't want it to get missed.

Here she comes. Looks like she will have to go to the CT dock.
