beachbum6264 Posted July 22, 2018 #2 Share Posted July 22, 2018 High tea? No. Afternoon tea? Most likely. The difference between high tea and afternoon tea.
JayDeeJay Posted July 22, 2018 #3 Share Posted July 22, 2018 Yes, they have Tea at Sea - it’s well worth going if you appreciate an afternoon treat. We never miss it very nice little sandwiches and cakes. And you’re not limited to hot tea, ask for what you’d prefer. Actually, it’s not a “high tea” in the British sense of the word; that is usually served in early evening and offers meat pastries and heavier fare. Enjoy!!! GradUT Posted July 22, 2018 #4 Share Posted July 22, 2018 As I recall, you are limited to plain black tea. If you want anything different, e.g. flavored tea or Earl Grey, you pay extra. Or do as I have done and bring some teabags from home.
A&Jfamily Posted July 22, 2018 #5 Share Posted July 22, 2018 You can get coffee, or black or green tea for free - just ask if they try to bring you the other flavors in the box which are $1.95. They have cucumber and salmon sandwiches and usually some kind of small tart, macaroons (round chocolate or white cookie with cream in the middle) a chocolate cake and one or two other goodies that vary from cruise to cruise. It will be at 3-4 pm likely in the aft dining room. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

marshhawk Posted July 23, 2018 #12 Share Posted July 23, 2018 I too bring my ow tea, because I remember what tea on the ship used to be like. on the smaller ships it is at 3 in the piano bar, (fantasy class) on the larger ships, the section off one area of the dining room.it is a nice break from the noise and sun.
