Which 3 specialty dining venues would you choose on the Escape? (with 2 teenagers)

Teppanyaki - teens like the "show".

Moderno - teens can eat nonstop.

Bayamo - send the teens to the buffet and parents can "dress up" and enjoy something a bit more special than the other specialty restaurants ($15 up-charge).

Bonus: Food Republic for lunch - Teens will enjoy the iPad for ordering (a la carte only/no SDP).

What type of restaurants do you go to at home? My teens loved Le bistro, because we rarely go out to nicer restaurants. They liked moderno, but we have better ones at home. They love hibachi, but again, we have better ones at home, and less expensive.

I was bummed they switched to a la carte, because I wanted to take them to Carney’s on our last cruise, but with 5 of them, I didn’t want to pony up for the SDP. I took them to a nice streakhouse here (tablecloths, cloth napkins, lots of glasses on the table, great service), but it was $300+. Wish I was still about to pay $25 or $30 pp!

Heck, my kids prefer the MDR’s over the buffet. The nicer the restaurant, the better.

We are super stoked for our upcoming cruise in January. We are going to purchase a three specialty dining package and wondered what would you choose with 3 teenagers?

With teens unless they really enjoy dressing up and eating very upscale I would go with Cagney's, Teppanyakis and La Cucina. I would add Le Bistro if they are into the more formal scene. Modernoa is fun also.

Going in June with a 16 yr old who loves trying new things Plan Cagney's and Moderno for certain. Not sure on LeBistro or LaCucina for 3rd. Leaning towards LeBistro. He enjoys fine dining and we go for good Italian at home. We do Teppanyaki often at home too so not a big deal to us.
