Kiwi Kruzer Posted September 19, 2018 #26 Share Posted September 19, 2018 Just a thought ...whenever I got back from a cruise and was unpacking I would say Well I didn’t wear that....or I didn’t need that......:D
Suzbluz Posted September 19, 2018 #27 Share Posted September 19, 2018 I would not think the OP would need a suit jacket and dress shirts on Carnival Spirit, a bit overdressed? Light trousers and polo shirt would suffice for the MDR.[emoji813]eyes: I was on ye olde Carnival Spirit in 2006, Alaska, an American ship then, 99% Tuxedos. How times change. Plenty of people, probably most people, dress up on formal nights on the Spirit. If you like to dress up you would not be out of place. On other nights more casual clothes would be fine. Moogie1234 Posted September 20, 2018 #28 Share Posted September 20, 2018 I tend to pack outfits and make sure everything can mix and match and layer. 2 pairs of swim suits, 1 pair of pjs, a warm jacket, dress shoes, comfy shoes, reef shoes, formal wear. temani Posted September 24, 2018 #29 Share Posted September 24, 2018 Thank you everyone! On a cloudy, drizzly morning in Brisbane, this thread has been the best pick-me-up! So funny. Thank you too MicCanberra (from a link I followed here), as now I know that for my upcoming first time on a P&O cruise ship I will be ok with a few singlets with custard stains down the front, stubbies and bare feet. I can't wait!!

Bpos Posted September 25, 2018 #32 Share Posted September 25, 2018 If all the ladies packed one piece bikinis when cruising surely that would be a saving on the amount of clothing to be taken!
Porky55 Posted September 30, 2018 #33 Share Posted September 30, 2018 ChuckL88, found something else that you may find useful when packing for your cruise, along with your packing cubes (goes inside your handbag /manbag) Packing cubes: Sent from my iPad using Forums
