Whats Your Favorite Carnival Ship

Not much in the way of choice here... we’ve got the spirit or the Legend... if you asked me this time last year I would have said Legend as I hadn’t been on the spirit. Now I have the spirit wins... that is until the Legend goes to dry dock on May 1st and gets a well deserved make over... oh and then we get the splendor in Late 2019. Ask me in 2020 & I think I may say the splendor... only because it’s like a new play thing for us Aussie carnival fans.

I am a fan of the Dream class. Love deck 5 and cove balconys.

Bigger ship means bigger casino.. Also love the waterworks area. I have foot issues so can't utilize the ladder to get out of the pools without a lot pain. So a quick trip to water works and I am drenched and cooled off and giggling like a kid.

Wish the Large hot tubs were hotter.

The Sunshine was very nice by the waterfall. I would cruise her again.

The Senasation was my first and it was a great cruise too...but would not sail on that size again.

So my fav so far has been the Dream.

But I have been wanting to go on Liberty for some time.. So we shall see.

I've sailed on all categories of Carnival ships outside of Vista class. My favorite are the Spirit class (been on Miracle, Legend and Pride 3X). They have the best Passenger to space ratio, most eclectic range of cabins to choose from (Vista suite was nice), and the easiest to navigate. Least favorite was Sunshine.....the theater by day/night club by night set-up seems like a rushed afterthought, more passengers than Conquest class though it's smaller, and just worn looking around the outside areas.

Tie between the Liberty and the Miracle. I liked the layout, décor, and overall theme of the Miracle better but the service on Liberty was by far the best service I've ever received on a Carnival cruise (and it is a very pretty boat). We had an obstructed view ocean view room on the Miracle with the French doors and I loved it!

Any Spirit class - my father had me do a math problem one time, and I have decided that he was correct. Divide the ships tonnage by the number of passengers to get a "space per passenger" number. Sprit class wins by a mile. That said, the Pride and Legend are my favorites.
