for me could care less about turning platinum, which will likely never happen for me, for several reasons. But heck, I would just love to be about to set sail on a cruise ship, any cruise ship, any cruise line. But not going to happen for me, so what I would actually get excited about, is if I was just going to get on a cruise again, anytime soon.:(

So, instead of thinking of status, or perks, just be grateful that you can cruise at all. Sooner or later you will reach a point in life when these precious moments are no longer attainable. Enjoy your cruise and and the many more vacations in your future, but remember, that a time will come when you cannot do it anymore, and finances will have nothing to do with it.

sorry to be a downer, but I am feeling a bit down now. Just want to say, enjoy now to the maX.
