have you ever "met" Funship Freddie?

I have been on 4 Carnival Cruises, and have never seen Funship Freddie, except the back of him, once. Does he only attend children's functions? Does he go to the welcome aboard party? How often have you seen him? And have you ever Met him?

Saw him in the hallway near our cabin. No camera in site.

He was walking around the pool deck and we snapped some pictures of him with the kids!!!

I have a pic with him from the Lobby bar and I'm holding a Bud Light..Classic photo :)

Saw him at the Past Guest Party.

We saw him out walking the open decks on the Miracle in February. He stopped for pictures with our roll call and individually.

We seemed to run into Funship Freddie in many areas - the main showtime lounge, the casino, the mail pool, the photo gallery. Always seem to get at least one picture with him on each cruise we've been on.

We've had pictures taken with Freddy on almost every cruise!

Saw FF on the Promenade one evening, great photo op for those so inclined. Oh, it was the Inspiration Halloween cruise last fall.

Yes, we have pics of each of us with Freddie in a couple of our Platinmum frames. He was actually doing the formal pics at a port.

Freddie was on the Destiny last month walking around the shop hallways waving to everyone.

I actually got to dance with him on our second cruise at the Past Guest party on stage - just Freddie and I! It was Fun!!

So now this got me thinking. And yes, I'm sure SOMEONE will think this is tacky, but I would love a pic of us and Funship Freddie for the wedding. I wonder if he make special appearances at the onboard weddings if you ask?

On about day 6 of an 8 day cruise, my husband was very upset that we had not run into Funship Freddie. So I called guest services, and they kindly gave me his schedule of public appearances for the rest of the cruise.

Some of you would probably call this "cheating" :eek:

Yep :) Just off the Conquest and he was at our Past Guest party.

Yes he just showed up while my daughter and I were standing in the atrium on the Elation last year. Of course we'd left our cameras in our cabin. That was the first time we'd seen him.

I have mentioned this before. This past January aboard the Legend, I did not see Freddy till it was too late, and obviously he did not see me. Trust me, the vision in those outfits are horrid.

I was at the top of some stairs, Freddy barged into the room and sent me down the stairs on my read end. The kids who were to be surprised by his appearence all stared and me in a heap at the bottom of the steps. The "keeper" of Freddy kept guiding him towards the shocked kids.

An odd occurence indeed....so yeah, I saw Freddy & he kicked my a##.

On our last cruise it was formal night and Fun Ship Freddie was walking by the casino and we seen him and dh took a really good pic of FSF and me. Love it. :D

My goal is to get a pic w/Freddy every cruise! I am so disappointed if I don't see him!

Nope! I call that good planning and I may have to do that so I can make sure I get a picture with him in my wedding dress! ;)
